I was not going to vote in November. Insane McKane has just won me over by calling for an end to this bail out mania. It was Obama his friends and supporters who stole the millions from the mortgage companies Freddie May and Freddie Mac. Left wing liberal Democrats all. With the help of Billie Bob and his left wing liberal controlled Congress. This bailout does nothing for the people who are losing their homes. The dumb people who got in mortgages over their head are still going to be homeless. Don’t forget that. So who is it helping? This bailout is helping the money lenders. The speculators. The corrupt. The incompetent. The criminally fraudulent traders. Such as Joe Biden’s son. The foreign owned banks. All it does for the working American is add to the bill that some day must be paid with taxes. This is the dumbest thing in a long line of dumb things that George Bush, who will go down in History as the worst President we ever had, has done to date. Let the market run its course. Let the Banks fail. Let them eat the cake for a real change. What the Federal Government should do is put enough money in the FDIC to cover the working Americans savings and checking accounts. They should not assume the money markets. Money markets were not under the FDIC because they made high risk investments and paid higher interest than FDIC insured savings. Let their greed be rewarded with the loss.

I have a feeling when the dust settles in about 20 years and people look back this whole mess will be blamed on the price of oil and big business refusal to take a responsible approach to the way they run their companies.
The price of oil is the root problem when you look at how each family’s money is spent. The price of everything the family has to buy monthly has gone up, why because of the price of oil. Therefore the home owner is not able to afford monthly house payments, credit card payments and put a tank of gas in their cars to go to work. Food has gone up because shipping charges have gone up. Heating, electrical and all other utilities not to mention insurance have gone up. Then there are the business men who are awarded large bonus each year even when the company is not solvent. Why is this happening, because currently our government is run by a party who supports big business? The rich feel those who are poor got themselves into their situation; therefore they have to figure out how to work themselves out of their situation. But, is it fair for the businessman to give the worker a raise only to eat it up with a cost increase in health insurance and reduction in health insurance coverage? That is what Indiana did to its state workers sense Mitch Daniels came into office. Besides cutting jobs and giving state workers more task from those jobs which Mitch eliminated. I for one had to file unemployment, what a mess, and I have a college degree! Filing for unemployment is all done on the internet; those people who do not have assess to the internet cannot file for unemployment, food stamps or other needed aide. The people who were needed to bridge the gape are gone, wiped out by Mitch to SAVE MONEY. Look at the number of unemployed in Indiana and double it, then you will have a closer REAL number of people unemployed in Indiana. I cannot vote for any Republicans’ in November, the mess Indiana far exceeds anything I would have every dreamed in my lifetime. |

Yes, the price of everything has gone up, and gone up significantly. But if you want to throw blame, throw it to the media and Hollywood. The people that make working class people think they need a 250,000 house, when one for 90,000 will do just fine. The media that makes you think you need a brand-new SUV, when that 5 year-old minivan gets the job done. The media that keeps perputating that we have to have more, more, more! People have lost their homes because they wanted a bigger house than they could afford, they cannot put fuel in their vehicles and make their credit card payments because they were living far beyond their means. If it's gotten so bad that you lose your house (not withstanding loss of a job) because the price of fuel and food went up, you had a bigger or more expensive house than you could afford in the first place. Why did you get it? Because all the TV shows and the movies have "average, every-day" folks living in one, so you just thought you'd go along with it. BTW, who is Hollywood? With a few notable exceptions, it's the wonderful, living large Democrats!!! They'll still be spouting off their liberal nonsense and making several million dollars for "acting" in a film when you're outta work, buying groceries at Wal-Mart and hoping that the next big storm doesn't take the "skirting" off your new residence. Go ahead, vote Democrat.....the rich will stay rich and the poor will still go without! |
