Ms. Luh may be a fine person but we are in need of getting rid of the State Thruway Authority board. These authorities don't appear to help NYS at all. Eliminating the Thruway and letting the US Dept of Transportation take over would be of a greater help to NYS. I read today that Long Island is talking Seccession from NYS because of taxes and tolls and that area is suppose to be lot more wealthy than WNY and Upper NY combined.

If we abolish the tolls we'll just have to pay more tax of a different kind to maintain our thruway system. One way or another, we'll be paying. I like having an independant body in charge of our roads.

Let’s put this in perspective……

Between working for the Genesee County Airport and the NFTA she had two previous jobs that were dependent on large sums of tax dollars for its very existence. The NFTA is the ultimate cash-cow dependent on tax dollars!!!!!!

She owns a “consulting company” that focuses on Community Relations. AKA: People pay her to get taxes dollars for various groups…..

She lives in a village (Depew) that has no reason for existence except to reap HUGE tax dollars. Depew is one of the highest taxed communities in WNY but she is OBVIOUSLY in favor of the,“The Government will take care of me as long as we keep giving them money” concept. Otherwise, she would have moved to a community that doesn’t demand so much of her money long ago.

In closing, this is a very good choice for the Thruway Authority!

I believe by her credentials and the statements she has made she is ready for a higher elected office. She has political speak nailed, won't comment on two of the hottest issues until she has time to "familiarize herself" with the facts. If she is such a great candidate and has knowledge of the operation, shouldn't she already be familiar? Another leech sucking off the taxpayer and toll payer. But why would we expect anything else!

She has to familiarize herself with what's going on because as a citizen and voter she has no idea why the government is taking all our money and spending like there is no end to it. The first thing she needs to do is change her last name from Luh to Duh and she'll fit right in.
