most likely the only county supervisor that is a friend of the loser. a real certification of the election process would be re certify all voters of solano county to clear the rolls of illegals, people not here any more and verify each and everyone is a legal U.S. citizen. think vallejo and all countys getting the paper are fed up with the election was faulty. in truth, most likely all elections have some legal problems. under the pact signed by bush to agree to make mexico, the U.S. and canada the north american union, the constitution will go away and elections will matter little.

Wait a minute here; this is Vallejo, right? Nest of nothing but democrat politicians; NO e-vil Republicans to cause hanging chads, NOR any of the supposed disenfranchisement they like to hang on the right ala Ohio and Florida, right? I also dont see any clan members either... ONLY a bunch of democrats on both sides, am I right? Can't ANY race involving a democrat be held WITHOUT that Clouthier is doing? Perhaps Kathleen Harris and Karl Rove were both innocent after all...

Whether or not some people are tired of hearing about the election fiasco, it's a fact that it happened. It's a fact the the Voter Registrar admitted to numerous mistakes being made. It's a fact that the Registrar utilizes machines that he nor his staff fully understand or know how to operate. So until these "facts" are corrected, people will continue to talk about them. If you don't care, then don't read the articles. There is a lot more at stake since there are more elections coming up this year and more potential to mess things up.

How confident am I supposed to feel knowing that I have to vote next week for a national election, with an absentee ballot, after witnessing the recent complete failure of the county election process?
Thank God more than 10,000 people will be voting for the presidential nominees and state propositions. |

Regardless of the final count (whatever it may have been..Osby or Gary) the final tally should have left the Registrar Of Voters without a job and facing a criminal investigation.
I also found it slightly (ha!) ironic that one of our supervisor was actually stopped on the road behind a wheel, drunk, and not much was made of it. The board of supes (with the exception of one) should be looking elsewhere for work as well. It will be interesting to see what the results of an official investigation will be. |

Here's more fact, none of the candidates received a majority of the votes. Therefore, the most democratic way to resolve this issue is to conduct a runoff election. Too bad that the past leaders didn't see this option as the best solution to a democratic election.

Queen Bab only complains when her candidate, Cloutier, does not win. Seems like the system has worked just fine for years, like when she was re elected.
