OMG, did anyone see the do not re-elect Gomes T shirts that were selling on Georgia Street today?
Way too funny. I hope the TH prints a copy of the shirt. Gomes is going to blow a gasket over this one. The picture is worth $$$$$$$$$$ Make sure to read the back side on why not to re-elect her. It even includes the trust issue. |

I'm sure that if this is true, it has the "Vallejo Union Made label" on it somewhere.
Kind of a high school level attack if you ask me. |
Hopefully someone will post a YouTube link to this fashion statement? |
Funny, you never notice the "high school level attacks" on our police and fire. Is it the so called attack or the fact that more people than you think just don't like her? I think she will beat Anthony's vote count by a couple thousand less at least. |
Coming from someone that wrote a Vanilla Ice-like que ball rap bomb you have a lot of nerve calling someone out about High School behavior. |
Griss "you never notice the "high school level attacks" on our police and fire." - I do, but I figure you and FF-cops-welfare are happy insulting each other. "Is it the so called attack or the fact that more people than you think just don't like her?" I like her and I think she is good for Vallejo. I think the majority of people that don't like her are the employee unions, their significant others, and the people that want Vallejo to be the way it was in the early 90's. I guess we'll have to wait until November to see how it turns out. My thing, like always, is a balanced budget that provides for reasonable compensation, service levels, and includes funding for quality of life programs. I really don't think the unions will do what is necessary to get there, and I understand that most people don't want to give up something they think they've earned, but the GF budget is the budget - and it was never meant to be the the PSU fund. Vallejo can't afford to pay what they have paying. If employees want to look for greener pastures they are free to do so. |
You're right. Properly managing a city is not the task of the employees. Sure you want "reasonable" compensation NOW, since the pie in the sky new progressive Vallejo did not bloom on your watch, and you got yours anyway, or at least half of it, more or less.
Good idea. The woman said she would be back on Friday. I told her she should sell them at the coffee shop on Sonoma at Georgia, this is where Gomes goes every day. I will buy one and put it on Youtube. |

Pissle is not yet at a HS level, Jr High at most. |
Huh? |
Huh? Like I've said before, wannabe detective, you don't have a clue, couldn't even buy a clue, and you're a pathetic wreck of a person. I'm guessing that pot belly of yours is looking like it's on steriods, and you apparently fell off the wagon onto your head. Good luck with your mental issues. |

Sam Kurshan for City Council!!
I love it. Just goes to show how scared you are that she will be around for four more years. More bullish behavior to attribute to the spoiled little PSU's. One more reason for the citizens to vote NO on UUT and any other tax/fee the psu's want the public to buy into to keep them in the lifestyle they have become accustom to. Keep that henke I hate Valllejo mentality - billboard "people will die" propaganda up and the UUT will go down as a resounding (h)ell NO, Not One Red Cent campaign. Watch for the signs.
What scares you is that Kurshan might actually take her seat with the Jobs Not Snobs ticket, nothing to do with the UUT. Our police force will be decimated either way, by then.
This is great! Sam will have the support of the entire traditional blue collar roots of our town. Enough of these elitist dreams, "smart growth", and high-end jobs for the well educated. |
I love the fact your so supportive of Sam now. Three seats open, and we will watch for the union label. Maybe now you will stop talking about his private business and making nasty references about his mother that we are so tired or reading.
You are correct employees shouldn't be allowed to run this city, they shouldn't be allowed to contribute to campaign funds like the funded four, and we shouldn't have employees meddling in elected officials decision making with binding arbitration. |
Yep, the enemy of our enemy is our friend. Works for everyone. We see that he is under your skin so you damn right we support him, any non-snob trying to build jobs will do well in November, regardless of educational credentials.
In fact, a GED moron could even win big. We just need one to keep the elitists away until 2011, just one. One plus Sam to make you steam away. Alun, you look like you've seen a ghost?! |
Actually any candidate that is against higher taxes for raises ought to do quite well with very little money. Everytime you folks open your mouths or run adds you further our anti-tax and spend cause. So far your boring posts have not convinced me that I have seen a ghost. |

There are two clicks in Vallejo; the PSU group who only care about their contract, and the anti-public safety union; who can’t focus on anything else in the city but the cops and FF.
These two entities are constantly fighting. They take up all of Vallejo’s energy. What is happening w/Vallejo’s public safety is happening all around the bay area; Santa Rosa doing Brown outs; pay cuts in Marin and Sonoma County; Work furlough days; I’m not sure why Vallejo’s public safety hates certain council members so much. I can’t imagine the public safety in Sonoma or Marin County acting out in such a manner. If we’re all taking pay cuts here, than why shouldn’t you guys in Vallejo do the same? You’re all starting to look pretty arrogant to the outsiders looking in. I truly hope there isn’t a shirt out there attacking Gomes; it will back-fire on you fellas’. You will look like bullies. It will appear you guys are blaming this whole economy MESS on Ms. Gomes. |
