Where's the change?

Am I correct in observing that just about every recent Times-Herald story about Vallejo city government seems to include the phrase: ".. decision to delay the vote...?" Didn't Mayor Davis and Councilmembers ...

while it looks like nothing is being done, to get things started, one needs to know where one is at. that will take time to look at what problems must be tackled first, set a goal/time frame to research, plan, establish what must be done and what order, the a plan of how to get actions required to be acted upon then ersults check to see if things are going as planed and so on. rome was not built in a day and years of distruction will take years to repair. better to look before a leap is made that could set things back or make things worse.

This council is doing fine, give them a chance. At least we don't have the type of politics like the Board of Supervisors in San Francisco have.

Which is exactly what we had with Pearsall and the drunk driver.

Amen the idots are gone!!!!!!!!

"positive activism of Intintoli, Pearsall and Cloutier"

Alun, these are the guy's who kicked the can down the road on the fire contracts. The can fell into a pot hole down on Tennessee Street but it's still there nonetheless.

Alun,

I agree with the comments, give the new mayor a chance. I have heard from "great" sources that the mayor has already started the ball rolling with new business coming to Vallejo without the delays Vallejo is known for.

He is also working with the public safety unions on cutting cost to help the city get back on their feet.
