Why can't we all just get a bong?
Got the plants, that's what matters. The people were probably already on the welfare/foodstamp rolls so it won't cost us anymore now that they are broke. Maybe they won't be able to afford the diesel for their generators? ...and another ones gone, and another ones gone.....dust! |

I sure hope the find the shooter. Not only is he in trouble for an illegal grow, he's also got attempted murder to deal with.
Feds, please come clean up this county. |
Wow! I found a beacon in the night! Nord, where didja get so smart! I fully expected the first response to be from writch or one of the other bleeding hearts. I figure they will extend an olive branch to the shooter because, poor, peaceful, No on B, shooter boy was merely protecting his "medicine! How could we ever prosecute hi,? what with the three or four lintott recallers. |

Mendo local, you would'nt happen to be from Albion the biggest dump on the coast?
|

i'm curious about the Man Show that was reportedly at the same location
lol |

No Mendo Local it would seem judging from the scat he spreads on the forum that he would be from the anal's of humanity that creeping stench of intolerance that keeps stinging the nostrils of the county.
I am personally outraged over this shooting. All the greed associated with this plant that one would move to take another's life is appalling and gives testament to the fact that we need to create a real plan for the industry. get that? I said industry .we are a capitalistic country this could be a great green industry that would generate enough wealth to fund a real campaign against Illegal grows. And thus make our county safer and once again we could feel safe to explore our national forest's and parks. Think about it. |

I don't know....maybe :-P |

thats odd. when you click to read the story, it is a story about a fire on Talmage in a house.

I don't think that Wrich or anyone else would think that this sort of behavior is OK. Besides, obviously, this was not a medical grow. Sadly, people like you made it pretty clear with measure B that you would rather go after people growing small amounts for personal and medical users rather than grows such as this. If B goes through that then Sheriffs Dept. will have even less man power and resources to go after large, illegal grows like this. I'm sure the Mexican Mafia and other large, violent growers would like to thank you and the rest of the pro B'ers for your support this growing season... |

Where in the article does it say it was an illegal grow? Was it a trespass grow? Public land grow? Where is the evidence it was illegal? HOw manyt tax parcels? 150 plants, not large grow, so how is this illegal? |
|
This is a medical grow. And now the grower has another patient. These growers are good business men.
|
|
B hasn't passed yet, so if it is over 25 plants per parcel than it is illegal. And 150 is most certainly a large grow. |

Not if they were 150 little cuttings, with no roots. The UDJ and LEO's omit certain important information during a bust, such as stating there was " 80 pounds of processed cannabis.." what they leave out, is that the cannabis was also wet. wet cannabis is significantly heavier than dry. We don't know if these plants were seedlings or not. As for the 25 plants per parcel, do we know if these plants were on property that consists of more than one tax parcel? And how can you legally limit one tax parcel to 25 plants if the parcel is, say 160 acres, and there are more than one household on the parcel? Who gets to claim the 25 plants? |

Law enforcement personnel also observed large amounts of d-Con rodent poison around the area and found multiple dead field mice and squirrels, as well as one dead red fox, Bertoli said.
A natural spring had been diverted to irrigate the gardens, he said. The campsites also included a garbage pit, Bertoli said. |

The above is a cut and paste quote from the Press Dummycrat.... Yeah, I know they are describing a 27,000 plant grow in Sonoma County but the same )^@)&^ happens here. Just posted it because I have been told (via posts) that this kind of stuff does NOT happen! I have been called a liar, Nazi and Fascist as well as Rascist for stating these problems in the past but, here it is in black and white.
Reality, how many cards must these guys have to make it a legitimate "medical"grow in your eyes? |
|
|
The Answer, RC, is 4500. So, I guess it MUST be "medical"

I've seen a few cases where unrooted cuttings were ruled as not being plants since they technically are not a plant until their root structure develops. But, at this point we don't really know if they were clones or seedlings or full blown 8' tall monsters And I'm well aware that LEO's and esp. the UDJ like to inflate the numbers on stuff like this. This is why the MMJ laws state that the limits are for dried, processed amounts. As for the 25 plants per tax parcel, when there is more than one parcel, I've wondered the same thing myself. There isn't anything that explicitly states that the 25 have to be on each individual parcel. So, if you have 2 parcels, can you have 50 plants in one garden? I know a lot of other people have been wondering about this too. However, regardless if this was a supposed MMJ garden or not, shooting someone just for walking by is still a totally unacceptable behavior and should not be tolerated. These are the sort of people who give medical growers a bad rep. |
|
Wow! I actually agree with you! |
|
Just because someone was against B doesn't mean they support this kind of violent behavior. Pretty much all the medical growers and patients are against this short of thing because they are usually the ones who get blamed for it. Like I said, it gives the legit medical people a bad rap. I just didn't think that B would do anything to address these sort of problems (which it hasn't and it won't) and that the "meat-axe" approach was not a good way to go about solving the county marijuana issues. You should stop making such blanket judgments and assumptions. You'd be amazed how much you have in common with people, even if they don't agree with you. After all, we ALL live here and we ALL care about Mendocino. |
