Hey, LADY, oops, I mean lawnorder, if the garden is away from the kids, how do they see the parents going and tending of it? Unless the parent takes child with them, which I don't. ANd if I am tending the garden while they are at school, how do they see me leaving for it? How do you know I smell from it? Could it be possible that I change my clothing to tend my garden? Oh, wait, you think I profit from it, so I must have the $$$ to pay someone to tend it?

You still avoided my point about lethal doses of alcohol, lawnorder. Maybe, if you really work for law enforcement you would also be against igintion locks on the cop cars. no more driving under the influence for LEO's on the job.

Maybe the booze you don't want to limit has clouded your thinking? And why do you think I profit from it? just beacuse I grow it?

Its time to go after the demand side. If most of the Mendocino marijuana crop is going to kids lets attack that problem. I say drug tests for 7th thru 12th graders and any kid that tests positive gets an automatic 30 days behind bars. Failing a second test and its 365 days behind bars. Mandatory. If 80 to 90% of the Mendocino crop is financed by kids, then they are no different than the average criminal committing felonies. A third failed drug test and its a 5 year mandatory jail sentence. This is the answer to the problems associated with commercial growing in Mendocino county. End the demand! No more poisoning our kids. This will cause the price for Mendo-grown to drop to levels that will not sustain commercial production. If we are serious about abating the marijuana problem its time to start locking up the users. You can call me and we'll start working on a ballot initiative right away. We can't let these kids ruin our society by supporting marijuana growers.

Dick Selzer is a great guy....he has always had a real job...he's a pillar of Ukiahs community. Don't start hatin' because he cares. He's got teenage kids who deserve to have a community backed by dedication and family values, not weed and lies. Keep on growin so your house can get seized and I can buy it from Selzer. They give back millions of nameless, faceless victims. They give increased crime. They give us gangs and violence. They give us broken homes, and horribly affected children who have little future. They give us corruption in our government. They give us increased global warming rates. They give us HIGH energy costs. Thye give us water shortages. They give us polluted grounds and waters which will take decades to heal. They give us full jails, and courthouses burdened with backlogs of CIVIL can criminal complaints. THEY GIVE US FIREFIGHTER TOO AFRAID TO FIGHT FIRES. They give us fear and loathing in our communities. They give us armed patrols of psychos out protecting their fields. They give us a forest which few will step into for fear of being shot at.
