Sheriff Allman has endorsed Measure B in response to the BIG LIES (it will be a burden on law enforcement; it will target patients; it will attack small growers; it will do nothing for the large growers) of the anti-bees.

Stand up for freedom from the commercial growers who are wrecking our county and the environment. VOTE YES on Measure B!

Sheriff Allman is a Yes man, not a leader. There was not any lies printed on the flyer. It had his photo next to a quote from him along with the notation that Allman was "neutral on B"

Where is the lie?

The lie is the false implication that he endorses the anti-bee position. It is easy to read the blurb, see his photo, and not see the disclaimer.

The lie is that it will be a burden on law enforcement. It will not and Allman has said so.

The lie is to use his words out of context. Words that he spoke ten months before there was a Measure B. And after he has told you Big Liars that you were using his words out of context.

The lie is to say B will make criminals out of patients. It won't.

The lie is that B will deny medicine to sick and dieing patients. It will not.

The lie is say that B will make law enforcement go after small users. It won't.

The lie is to say that law enforcement will "be forced to spend time busting medical patients." It won't.

It is a lie to say that patients will be denied medicine or made into criminals.

Faulder and Keegan are lieing also. By the way, Dr. Keegan, no doctor "prescribes" marijuana. It is called a "recommendation."

In fact, it would be easier to say what in the flyer is not a lie. The election is on June 3.

Vote YES on Measure B to stop the Big Lies of the commercial growers and the commercial marijuana lobby.

The lie was all the calls he got from these jerks telling him they'd gotten flyers saying he'd taken a position (when they hadn't).

He's probably just trying to stop his phone from ringing.

If the No on B crowd wanted to do a ditto-head freeper style swiftboat attack on him, he'd probably re-cave.

Personally, I don't think I could muster up the anger for that. It's really more like pity what I feel for Tom.

Well, wretch, it looks like your gambit of mis-representing the Sheriff's position backfired on you. He tried to stay neutral but he got tired about you wretches lieing about his position. He tried to tell you (and the public) over and over again that his department would not target small growers. He tried to tell you over and over that Measure B will not be a burden on law enforcement anymore than the existing out of control situation. Vote "YES" on B to shut up the Big Liars and shut down the big growers.

Yes, yes, yes on B. The bottom line is to get the big grows out of neighborhoods. Reduce the amount that can be grown in a residential area and remove the danger to neighbors.

How much does a patient need? Can't they stay stoned all year on their 6 plants? Why do they need 25? Does it mean that they (the compassionate caregiver)might have to find some other job? No, they don't want to talk about that.

This makes sense to me. Tom tried to ride the fence but the Nobees kept dragging him into it. It really shows that they are lacking in character. Lie about the Sheriff's position. Lie about it being a burden on law enforcement. Lie about it being an attack on patients and small growers. And when he reacts then personally attack him. We should all commend Tom for doing the right thing.

Mr. Hopland hank, those questions you have should be answered by your doctor. Not by a campaing committee. May I suggest you take those quesitons to a doctor who KNOWS about medicinal cannabis?

Exactly, Mr. un-reality. Every patient should stay with the state limits, just like they do in 50 or more counties in California. For those rare patients who need more, they can get a note from their doctor, as provided for in state law. Vote YES on B to stop the abuse of phony caregivers growing 25 plants times as many phony pot cards as they have. VOTE YES ob B.

YEAH Tom!!!!
Don't let No on B cloud your judgement as a resident of Mendocino County. The sooner B is passed the happier us law abiding, honest, citizens will be. Don't let the Hydroponic commercials that state they are here for your community cloud your judgement. They are here for the pot growers ONLY!!!
It's all about doing what is LEGALLY right. It's all about teaching our children it is not ok to disobey the law or rules.

State MINIMUMS! Not state LIMITS. and by the way, I am a woman, not a man! please let me know what doctors recommend plant numbers, since you keep stating that the patient can have the Dr. recommend more plants than the state MINIMUM of 6. Please.

Minimums, limits, whatever. The point is your Dr. can recommend any amount that you need. I'm sure Dr. Courtney, the pot doctor, will fix you right up. He says every patient of his needs more than what is allowed now. In fact he says his patients need 36 pounds a year! And he also says we should give pot to kids.

We elected Tom Allman and he has turned his back on us. I guess the big wineries and developers got to him and now he has caved to the pressure. What happened to his pledge to be neutral. Somethingh is seriously wrong here. If he is not recalled first, he certainlly won't be re-elected! WE WILL NOT FORGET!

Hey "Recall" get real. If "you" elected Allman then that means your a majority so apply that very same majority to kill measure "B"..... or not!

Tom Allman did not get elected on his MJ stance, the picture was/is much bigger than that. Either candidate would have made a fine sheriff in my book..... I just happened to vote for the one , that I felt, represented EVERYTHING I believe in the best.

And , although I do not agree with politicians (yep, Sheriff is a political position) endorsing issues and candidates, in this case I believe it is justified.

Well done Tom!

I never mis-represented anyone's position. I quoted him on the topic, and apparently, he still stands by the quote (which can't really be changed in meaning be any 'context' of any sort).

The article in March has him re-affirming these quotes (yet mysteriously still clinging to some kind of 'context' issue).

What kind of context can alter the meaning of 'we are burdened'?

Doesn't matter if it's a labor of love, or just a job, it's still got to be paid-time.

You people apparently pestered the hell out of him till he caved.

Doesn't change a whit of the meaning of his statements.

He just took your side because that's where the fire was coming from.

Our side is generally too nice to bother people with fabricated hysteria.

Hey, I've listed all the Measure B lies that I've found up on one thread. It's been up three hours, and none of you B proponents have managed to come up with a reply.

Are you avoiding it?
