Limit Grape Vinyards to 6 plants

With all of the deaths caused by drunk driving, and the violence that wine has created in our country, it's time we limit these DRUG DEALERS who call themselves "Vinyards" to 6 plants per drunk.
Not to mention the pesticides that have infected our rivers and lakes that these "Vinyards" have done without fear of prosecution. It's time to say "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore", scream it at the top of your lungs. Tell these commercial DEALERS that enough is enough, the children have been infected with the bug of alcoholism, and it's them we must save. STOP COMMERCIAL GRAPES IN MENDO....The real PUBLIC ENEMY #1 6 is enough, especially when I have proven facts of the substance damaging our entire society, unlike you Yes on B propagandists. |

Come on you Yes on B-S, can't you even type a response?

and the water they use is unbelievable.

Okay, wine gets people drunk if they drink too much. But, beer does the same thing.
So your argument would make the product of the Ukiah Brewing Company PUBLIC ENEMY #1 as well. I don't think the No on B people would like that. |

Bump.... Answer me measure B-S propaganda troopers, or, take defeat in silence.

No, let's end all freedom on bodily consumption, let's burn down the expresso stands too. Take all freedom of thought away, or at least rational thought, as you have already done by endorsing measure B while admiting wine is far more harmful in every way to the society, environment, and over all economy, since it's only a few rich owners and impoted workers they screw for wages.

Ohh, I forgot about the tourism of people drinking wine and going from vineyard to vineyard while driving drunk, that's great in a school zone like in hopland.

The Yes-on-B backers must be hiding out with all of Hillary's supporters today.

I dig you, Pat. I honestly prefer an opinion opposite of mine to no opinion at all. I wish I had all day to converse but, the kids want lunch and I need a shower.
Yes, drunkness is an issue in America. So are prescription drugs, handguns, the war in Iraq and the upcoming election. Let's talk about education, loss of jobs, the housing crisis and undocumented workers. We could find a way to tie any of these into our current issue. I do respect your conviction but, Mendocino County needs to get back to California standards on pot. If you don't like those, call Anrold. Have a good day - I hope it doesn't rain too much. |

No, they just can't fight someone who isn't scared to stand up, because it's hard to fight a man standing when you're lying.

TouCHE´ But honestly, the AVA does go off on drunks (even if the UDJ is meek on the topic). They did a scathing (if somewhat misguided) critique of Anderson Valley not too long back. Their Beer Fest donated some of the proceeds in the form of computers to the schools, if I remember right, and they wrote that was terribly sinister and was really a form of product placement and early 'pushing' of alcoholism on kids. The actual case there is that AVBC wants to have a big party every year, and if they do it as a fundraiser, all sorts of things are tax-deductible. A non-profit has to give the money raised to someone, and the kids got some (it all goes to local needs). Same method (straw man character assassination), different topic. I gave them the moniker "Anderson Valley Angerizer" when I worked some out in Boonville. The Boonies thought it was funny. I hope it sticks. They are all a bunch of really evil people at that rag in my book. http://www.theava.com/ On the other topic: Beer lower in alcohol per unit volume for the most part than any wine, and, it has HOPS (pot's only cousin in the plant world), which should count for a lot in it's 'rehabilitation', plus, if you note, BEER joints actually do try to do something about DUI (little van to that effect parked outside the Pub at State and Clara almost every day of the week). |

I enjoy your candor also, and on some points, you may be right, but consider this. If alcohol is so very addictive, why then doesn't someone rob a vineyard for wine or money? They don't do it because vineyards are protected by the police and the workers, along with the well armed vineyard owners. The facte is, the more you make people go underground to do any behavior, it will cause crime as a natural reaction in our society that we have seen from any item prohibited.
The fact is, people need to protect themselves if the police won't do it, and that's what th second amendement was written for. But when police don't make any effort to find the killers of my friend because he owned a dispensary, yet the day before his death he gave $7000 to the food bank in Ukiah so everyone would have turkeys on Thanksgiving, shows me the true criminal may be the ones who were left with the duty of protecting and serving their community, not protecting a socio-political war against marijuana that has been filled with the same lies for a couple of hundred years started by the Catholic Church, who just so happens to love their wine. Peace be with all, even the wicked, for the day of judgement on the wicked will be far from peaceful, while I'll rest well. |

So, just because.... "... Escobar was a hero to many in Medellín (especially people from the slums); he was a natural at public relations and he worked to create goodwill among Colombia's poor... Pablo Escobar was also responsible for the construction of many churches in Medellín, which gained him popularity inside the local Roman Catholic Church. He worked hard to cultivate his Robin Hood image and frequently distributed money to the poor. He would also build houses for the poor, gaining followers on his way. The population of Medellín often helped Escobar by serving as lookouts, hiding information from the authorities, or doing whatever else they could do to protect him." **** begets **** pal - and yes I know God is watching do you? |

Actually, a better example from the south to compare Les Crane to would be Evo Morales (President of Bolivia).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evo_Morales Les was a humanitarian, but unlike Robin Hood, he was public, he was vocal, and he stood for a cause. Like Evo, Les stood up for our right to grow and harvest plants that God put here for us (in Evo's case, the coca bush), specifically referencing that fact (that it's God's property, not the US Government's). Like Evo, he brought people together in the cause, though I'd have to admit that the 'League of Nations' style of association our churches are now affiliated in doesn't seem to be what Rev. Tom Brown explained he was heading off to California to help start. I thought it was more of a 'UN' sort of thing that was in the works before he was murdered. Here's what ended up there in his absence: http://www.cannabischurches.net/ And truthfully, since history is written by the winners, I have to wonder whether the Sheriff of Nottingham really was such a jerk. |
Thank you for making it clear you support cocaine production and sales as well. Do you also, like Dr. Courtney, support giviing marijuana to infants and children? How far do you want to push the drug dealing culture? |
|
|
truth, tell me what the bar owners or vineyard owners have done for the poor or kids of mendo besides hired illegals and contaminate the ground?
You can't come up with a valid response though, you or Mr.Kinder, so you resort to name calling with no facts, you are like mini Rush Limbaughs, only not nearly as entertaining. You're more like a right wing Rosie O'Donnell, isn't that right KC? |
|
Are you claiming to be a doctor? Do you have 1 % of the medical knowledge Dr. Courtney has. You like most of law enforcement love to play doctor. Cocaine is a prescription drug and can be prescribed by a physician. Thank you for making it clear that you lack intelligence on these subjects. Vote No on B... even though the courts have decided it is seeking to set limits for an unconstitutional statute. |
