Yes on B coalition seeks to govern peoples lives of Mendocino. Unable to control their neighbors by threats and intimidation, Measure B Proponents use scare tactics, propaganda and LIES, to sway public opinion in favor of passing Meaure B. Even though Measure B does nothing to tackle the problems of "large scale commercial gardens",(of which the only real problems for citizens have been from law enforcement busts) The Measure B proponents continue the propaganda of how measure b will solve the marijuana problems in Mendo. In reality, Measure B does exactly the opposite in that Measure B will create higher prices for marijuana thereby increasing the violent crime associated with marijuana cultivation, by lowering the supply. Measure b was written by people in our community who are mainly bitter, jealous unhappy souls. These are people who HATE marijuana in any of it's forms and also HATE the people who grow or smoke it. These are the people in the community who rat and snitch their neighbors, they would love to see their independent neighbors working UNDER them. They hate the NEW MENDO CULTURE where there is an awareness about the many benefits of marijuana. Measure B goes back to the old YELLOW RIBBON CAMPAIGN which sought to clearcut all of Mendo County, they even used the same racist, bigot, war supporting, earth destroying, YELLOW COLORS! Reminescent of a time when these SAME people went around threatening to burn down the cabins of "hippies" who were in protest of clearcuutting Mendocino. YES< THAT SAME OBNOXIOUS Harwood Yellow Color!

SO MEASURE B COALITION,
Duanne Wells, Don "dj" Miller, R. un-Liberty,
Are you once again trying to scare us once again? It never works! and personally I don't grow, plant, sale or smoke! so HAHAHAHA the Jokes on YOU!
I do however support peoples rights to put in their bodies whatever they so goddamn wish and I support the Medical patients right to grow as much marijuana as their doctor decides is best for them, and not to be controlled by a fascist local government that seeks to ascertain more and more power over peoples lives! You measure b people are tyrants, wishing to destroy your neighbors lives, ruin their families, no-one has hurt your jealous asses! So go cry over something real,
MEASURE B IS DOOMED to be DEFEATED!

For one, the People already voted Measure G into law, and do you realize how many people discovered ganja at that very point in time! DIDN'T YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON THERE YOU FASCIST! LEAVE YOUR NEIGHBORS ALONE!
but oh no that wasn't good enough for all Mendocino counties old "sour grapes"! OLD "sour grapes" in Mendo can't stand to see the poor people of the county saying no to the $7.50 per hour jobs.
They can't stand it that "Billy down the road" makes 10 times more dough that "My little Joey, who got all the local scholarships which were handed down from my friends at the good old Masonic lodge and my other 'good old boys" friends at the Elks club and Rotary club,
Old sour grapes, can't take it that the growers have nicer trucks, or hotter girlfriends. Sour grapes can't stand the New Culture that has emerged in Mendocino, the fact that guys in their twenties have nicer land than old sour grapes has! Old sour grapes can't stand how the growers have bigger smiles, how the growers are happier, how the growers have more friends than OLD SOUR GRAPES,,,,,,,,,, SHALL I GO ON?

MEASURE B, DON'T LET IT DESTROY MENDOCINOS CULTURAL HERITAGE!
VOTE NO ON MEASURE B!

SOUR GRAPES OUT OF MENDOCINO COUNTY
YOU NO LONGER WANTED!

I bet it doesn't smell half as bad as the horses next door to my place. Flies, flies and Thousand more flies from all the Horse Manure. I wouldn't want to ban peoples horses just because of the smell and all the flies. I just accept it and am glad I don't live in a smog filled city. Did I mention all the horse manure left on the county roads by horse riders who don't clean up after their animals. If medical growers left feces all over the streets you would never hear the end of it. Why do we ignore the horses??????

I bet it doesn't smell as bad as my neighbors yard, he has 6 dogs and is totally irresponsible and they stink, and he never cleans up after them! But, I don't want to see him move as he has been my neighbor for years, good or bad, we help eachother out and my kids go to school with his kids. We both have different ideas, but that doesn't make me want to send him to jail or ruin his family because his yard stinks!
THAT JUST ISN'T RIGHT!

Last night at the candidates debate in ukiah Jimmy
Rickle said he has video taped his neighbors grows. What a snitch..Also Jimmy when did you stop smoking pot? It is well known that you are
a former pot buyer (too lazy to grow your own)
and smoker. Do you still smoke pot? Or is it the
tobacco that has turned your teeth as dark as your heart?

Manure stinks much worse but it's a zoning issue! B creates crime. I am sorry about your neighbors but that's not why people aren't selling their houses. Our economy is dropping fast, no one is buying.

B creates criime? Another of the anit-B Big Lies. It is Measure G that creates crime by giving Mendocino County the highest plant count for mature marijuana of anywhere in the state which has made us a magnet for the commercial growers who have arrived here in droves.

And people are selling their houses to get away from the inconsiderate growers who have ruined their neighborhoods and quality of life. A realtor friend of mine knows of four or five houses on the market right now for that very reason.

If Willits Girl was honest she would admit that the marijuana cultivation scene in Mendocino County is out of control and that Measure B is a reasonable response which simply puts us back in line with the state limits. Measure B protects the rights of legitamate patients and discourages commercial growers. Please vote Yes on Measure B.

I fail to see how by re-criminalizing under twenty-five plant circumstances one is addressing the commercial grow situation.

I'm used to that kind of bait-and-switch rhetoric from that side of the fence, though.

If the argument can't stand on it's own merit, it shouldn't pass.

I don't believe this crap about the smell, either. It's a bunch of sissy bullies ganging up with a new pack of fabricated complaints, IMHO.

I don't much care for the smell of magnolias, personally, but I'd never go so far as to tell my neighbor to cut theirs down.

Somehow, when it's pot, some people get it in their heads that it's OK to be disrespectful and rude.

It's still disrespectful and rude.

Measure B, in my judgment, is a hate crime.

John "logical one" McCowen is talking about his friend Realter Dick Selzer, who WILL get his 6% on any of those real estate sales. Profit oriented Mess B backers - profit and power.

See how you feel after 2 days, I'm one of those people that live right next to a grower. I do not say anything, people are very nice, but I hate the smell.

actually, to be technically correct, Dick Selzer is a real estate broker and, as the broker, gets a cut of his agent's profit. and while 6% is the standard transaction fee for a real estate sale in Northern California, it is split between the buyer's and seller's agents

i think there are two differing schools of thought on the term "commercial" here; some feeling that commercial grows are those with hundreds and hundreds of plants, and others classifying commercial as anyone growing for profit.

WIlits, it's too bad for you, but it's a personal preference issue (or should, and hopefully will be).

If you are western monotheist (Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or Rasta), you should get used to the smell, since it's the smell of the holy of holies, along with cinnamon, myrrh and cardamon. See the recipe for chrism in Exodus 30:22 (it's 'fragrant-cane' in most translations, in Hebrew "qhaneh-bosm").

It's the stuff that gives Jesus his title ('Christ' means 'anointed with chrism').

Mr. McCowan, if you were telling the truth, you never would have made this statement. Mendocino county is 4th in plant eradications from CAMP in 2007, down from 3rd in 2006. Lake county is 1st in plant eradication, same as 2006. Where did you find your stats that mendocino county produces the most? Please stop lying. you only look foolish.

I wonder how many properties Selzer Realty sold to people from out of state? If those people turned out to be illegal dope growers, is he going to return the commission, since it was probably money from illegal activities?

that's kind of a hollow argument; would the car dealers be returning their commissions on the cars purchased w/ illicit funds? unless he had concrete prior knowledge that the funds were ill-gotten, then i can't imagine that he'd have any responsibility to forfeit the profits
just the facts

We know the anti-bees are bad at math. They say more plants were pulled in Lake than in Mendo so therefore more plants are grown in Lake. The number of plants pulled does not say anything about the number of plants that are growing. Maybe Lake County eradicates 50% of everything in the ground because they take it seriously and we only eradicate 10% because the politicians have been afraid to really do their job.
