Where do you get your information? It is NOT true that EVERY drug abusing unemployed alcoholic in Laytonville is a pot grower.

The only violence from cannabis is because of the value. Go to hempfest in Seattle and you will see 100,000 people and not 1 fight. Alcohol is the problem, actually, irresponsible people who shouldn't drink because they can't handle alcohol are the problem, not the substance. I'm sure it wasn't the gun either, it was the person holding it. Do all of you anti pot people think guns should be banned too?

Where is the value coming from you dolt? All of you compassionate pot smoking greed mongers have created a black market that breeds violence and who's participants can really use a shower. This may have been alcohol related, but he had too much pot at his place in my mind.....so no compassion here....just another dealer dead....no biggie. I've spent a good portion of my life in woodman canyon...the only people there are pot growers....hopefully this violence against growers continues.

More info before blaming mj on the incident please? Does this man have a history of violence? What exactly was the altercation about? What was his alcohol level? Does he have other mental issues? Why stereotype Woodman Creek? There are bad apples in every neighborhood including yours. Let the law figure it all out. I'm sure there was more to it than mj. Alcohol and guns- bad combo.

Either Kelly knocked out plant limits or it did not. If Kelly knocked out the 6 plants of the state limits and Measure B it also knocked out the 25 plants adopted by the Board in August of 2007.

In reality, Measure B did repeal Measure G and did knock out the 25 plant limit adopted by the BOS. It MAY have adopeted the 6 plant limit pending the outcome of the review of Kelly.
