You are right, the people of Fort Bragg are fed up with these kind of actions. The problem has been ignored to long and now it is out of control and the simple truth is;the little creeps out number us. They are doing as they please and another truth is; they are getting away with it. I hope people now realize having meetings to "discuss" the issue is not a fix for it. I hope someone can come up with a way to stop this sort of thing other than taking these people under their wings and kissing their little behinds while they continue to do as they please. Come on people it doesn't work.

There was also a vandalism to the Blue Star Memorial on Hiway 20 East of Fort Bragg. This memorial is dedicated to all serving members of our forces. It was ripped from the mounting on a rock column, and found under a car in Fort Bragg. The concensus was, the little Ba-----s tried to sell it for scrap metal, and were refused because it had military symbols on it.The hiway park at camp 20 is public and highly visible. No one saw the vandalism taking place, or all we all complaicent???

25 years ago these little illegals would be rounded up by the lumberjacks and fisherman and used for crab bait. Yes this is what happens when the good people and lack of effective law enforcement fail to stop a problem and now you have your hands full. The police department is a joke! officers come and use it for a stepping stone to a " better " place and are gone as soon as they get trained. Fort Bragg was a great town in the good old days, what was that bar on Hwy 1 called Hanigens that place has awesome. Best of lucky FB maybe a local street watch of concern locals watching your town and calling those lazy cops when these little dirt bags strike.

I think too many of the "old-timers" need to chill out. Times are obviously different these days and beating people up for the color of their skin or how long their hair is are far gone. Patients and peace is where we should be and not solving this case by violating peoples rights should be the norm. Let's all just take a step back and look at the problem (if there is one).

There is a problem--vandalism. I live here and see the new vandalism every day, the newly planted trees broken and torn out, broken windows, graffiti. People are frustrated about it and may say inappropriate, bigoted things but please don't act like the problem isn't real.

This problem has nothing to do with you growing pot, you need to be in a different forum. And yes there was a time when people would have and could have handled this on their own. But as greenpeace420 says times have changed. Now people like he/she want to sit back and have patients and love and not violate these peoples rights. What about the rights of the property owners whose property they are destroying? All the talking in the world is not going to solve the problem. Being patient(and waiting for a miracle) and doing nothing has gotten us where we are today. There is no reason to be a racist about the issue, just get the ones that are doing it no matter what color their skin may be. I also think the so called is a pretty funny character. I don't think anyone is interested in the size of his balls.

40 vandalism reports over the year? Not too bad. I am sure Ukiah would have triple those reports. Or else, "someone" is padding their crime statistics to try and make them look good when they catch the oh-so-common scapegoat 12 year old.

Greenpeace why do you want this to be something it's not? We have a huge problem with vandalism here and you want to pretend like it's made up. I saw the red paint everywhere, I've seen the torn up broken trees that had been newly planted.

It was 40 reports of vandalism in one WEEK, which might be one night or one weekend. A tagger can hit scores of locations in one evening and cause hundreds or thousands of dollars in damages. Destroying the trees is just stupid.

It was actually over 40 in one night but this has been an ongoing problem for quite a while now. The Pudding Creek Trestle Bridge (for foot traffic only) was also tagged with graffiti not long after it's completion. No bigotry here but some of the graffiti is gang related and the gangs in this area are Mexican. I think there is a mex of vandals because we have a roving band of white, male, tweekers and drunks. So take your pick. It's just frustrating to spend money to make the area nice by planting trees, putting in concrete planter boxes, rebuilding the trestle brdge and then having someone come along and trash it.
