I could care less about the pot issue at this point but what has bothered me about Ms. Smith is that I never actually heard her say a word about caring about Fort Bragg or county workers in FB. We get SCREWED! It is a form of geographical prejudice! Ukiah gets all the higher paying jobs doing less than what some on the coast do, better equipment, etc. I want to contact Paula and ask her what she thinks about that, but since she is/was a county worker she knows that crap Ukiah throws at FB and it is about time someone cared!! And it does not seem to be Smith.

Just don't forget when you sell out to the drug dealers...don't come crying for help. Paula Deeter is a county employee who owns and operates a commercial (that means for profit) illegal marijuana dispensary - AKA 'dope dealer' Maybe you should care enough about your Ft. Bragg and stand up...instead of just complaining about your lack of choices. You can't help if you don't try. |

I am standing up- by not voting for Kendall Smith. MJ dispensaries are all over, not just FB and if it was illegal wouldn't she be in prison and not running for supervisor? Mendocino Co. had a dope problem way before all this Measure G stuff. I do care but this forum is about the 4th Dist supe and I'd rather see a hard working mom stand up for us than a expense account padding woman who hasn't (at least what I can see) done a dang thing, and yes, county workers are important and so is someone who will stand up for them. Lack of choices in common in Mendo county in all aspects of elected government so complaining about it is a waste of time, I agree.

One looks at Paula's 7 points and can be amused. How can one be for, basically, the commercialization of pot and at the same time be concerned about kids. If you are concerned about kids you would naturally be against any legalization of pot. I have no problem with legitimate medical pot in a small patch, but there are too many growers that keep bunches of low-lifes with medical pot cards around to be "legal". No jobs, no contribution to the community and increased crime. I ought to know, I live next to such a place. Voting against her, and that type of "economy", along with voting for Measure B is the right thing to do.

You don't think it's possible to look at Measure B objectively and conclude it won't address the "large commercial growers".That is all she did. You don't have to smoke pot to be against B. |

People that don't have a legitimate criticism and do have an axe to grind can just make up any old hooey - lots and lots of that all over TOPIX.
Paula is a legit candidate, a hard-working capable individual who actually can think for herself. Contrast that with incumbent Smith, a re-cycled democrat machine apparatchik that couldn't keep her hand out of the cookie jar: Fraudulently collecting extra bucks from the county when presented with the opportunity (lack of ethics) does not indicate high moral character. It is obvious that you do Not Know your **** from a hot rock. #1. the dispensary is completely legal. If you want to talk about people selling out to the drug dealers start talking about the people supporting Measure B. #2. Your comments make it so clear you have no idea who Paula Deeter is. Most unfortunate. Makes you look like a dumb fool. Paula has more integrity and Professional Acumen in one breath than you will have in a lifetime. |

Just remember all of the county employees getting reamed by their own administration; it is Paula Deeter fighting for these employee's rights as their union steward. As a county planner; she is the one making sure your process is correct and doesn't take a life time to get permits issued properly. Not to mention all the volunteer work she is involved with.
This is the "People's Candidate" make no mistake. Paula is one of the workers that make Mendocino a better place to live. I look forward to having her for our 4th district supervisor. |

We (me and 4 others) made over 5000 calls in the last 4 days getting the good word out about Deeter and The truth about Measure B, talked to alot of nice folks! THANKS MENDOCINO COUNTY FOR THE SUPPORT, and NO the mendo mount isn't running for supervisor, thanks though for offering to write us in!
