The sad part is that for the last few weeks I see some of the kids that went to school with mine and grew up in the middle of Potville er Laytonville. It makes me wonder what kind of influence the 'medical' marijuana industry has to do with it. Is it that they started smoking pot at an early age or just grew up with an attitude that it was the only way to make a good living. The latest arrest came as no surprise because I have known him, watched him go down that druggie trail but he had more opportunities than some and still chose the pot world and got caught. I look at those too jaded. I like that they have the pictures now.

I see past friends of my children growing up on that same path. Pot, then when the competition gets fierce for getting rid of it, they need more money so meth enters the picture. Then, low and behold they're on it. This is whats frustrating when talking or trying to discuss it with the growers. They are in denial.

Are you sure she wasn't just stuttering as usual? Or could be she got her off sale drug fix filled (?) Think about it... and why would you allow s-s-sue to hurt your feelings? Know something re: sue? Deep inside sue, she wishes she could be more like us... why do you think she despises us so much? She sees in us, what she could be, has always wanted to be, and would love to be, but just simply cannot find the strength and/or courage to do the things that would improve her life. So why like good people who are productive in life and family. People with stability and future. It's beyond typical rut syndrome, or just having bad times. Her life, all her life is the only life she has known. She despises people like us for a psychological reason. The problem is, she can improve her life, she can get out of the rut, and she can be a productive contribution to society... but she does not want to... and so we have what we have. We have an adolescent 37 year old throwing tantrums and calling people names. Hey! Who? Wha!!! what-the-heck!!! When did I become Dr. Freakin' Phil!(?????) I'm gonna go eat some ice cream! Hey, I was just over at BR31F and saw 3 of the very cutest little girls in they pajama's, they had to be all of 3 and 4 years old... they of course was with they mommies... but oh my God, every one of 'em gotta squirrel voice tell everybody what flavor ice cream they was-a-eatin'... all ice cream all over they mouth drippin' an everthin... was sooooooooo cute! Wanna know what a good life is? An ol' guy like me all clean and sober and know how to enjoy a moment delivered to you by God. What a great day this has been. I love my life. _Spartacus_

sue wrote: yea well my grandaughter is here and we went and picked blackberries.....that was fun....now we are going i love my life too just the way it is Well that's good sue, Really, I mean it. So why then (?) Why call people names? Bad names? Why are you so argumentative? Why can't you just simply have some fun, take it easy... why are you so vengeful? Destructive? Derogatory? Demeaning? Spiteful? Uncommunicative? Not that you don't talk, you talk... but there is NO communication... why? You always TALK AT US! And never talk with us, or to us. And please, if you answer... please I am asking, please no foul language, OK? Let's give it a try, and let's see what you would bring to the table; given the opportunity. _Spartacus_

Mendo Meth Epidemic wrote: <quoted text> First off "busyness" is spelled "business", alright, 2nd, You and your METH DEALING has got to go. You are the ones exploiting the children of this community with your Meth! You are using the great "REEFER MADNESS" technique to distract from the truth that Mendocino has a major Meth Epidemic! Read the Article Below! BREAKING NEWS: Mendocino Methamphetamine Labs Flourish as Money and Resources are Focused on Eradication of Mom and Pop Marijuana Growers! Mendocino County, CA One unexpected result of the increased interest in Eradicating Mendocino Counties nearly 50 year old cultural tradition of Mom and Pop Marijuana Farming has been the increase in the amount of Methamphetamine possession in the local police logs. This fact doubled with the fact the authorities have failed to bust even one lab in the past three years leads many to believe that Mendocino's Law Enforcement is headed in the wrong direction. Increased Meth possession and no Meth Lab Busts suggest that the Meth Culture is thriving in Mendocino County, Meanwhile, Marijuana Growers who have prevailed the local economy by creating Billions of Dollars in revenue for the County, a cash crop surpassing logging, wine, and fishing combined, have a Oppressive War waged against the Marijuana Culture which has refined Mendocino County worldwide! Its time to focus on the scrouge which is the parasite on the back of Mendocino County. Call the Sheriff and your local board of supervisors and encourage tell them you would like to see your tax dollars going towards ending this Mendocino Methamphetamine Epidemic! Stop arresting Mom and Pop growers for Cultivation. Stop Encouraging Citizens to "rat their neighbors". Look around at the real problem: Methamphetamine! DON'T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING MARIJUANA IS KILLING OUR COMMUNITIES, BEFORE MARIJUANA, THIS COUNTY WAS BROKE, POOR AND OPPRESSED, THATS RIGHT , THATS WHAT YES ON B SEEKS TO MAKE US ONCE AGAIN! I'm sure thhe pot grows fine, but the meth epidemic in Mendocino County will keep me away from Inland Mendocino and Fort Bragg was just aweful! Aggressive folks, racism, dirty looks and tweekers everywhere! Look at your towns, it looks like the left overs of a Nuclear Holocaust! Victims of speed everywhere, just read your towns arrests in the paper! I didn't see one arrest for marijuana only controlled substance arrests- METH, Why try to cover up the Meth Crisis< do you have a meth problem?? or?? Very Very well put!

Hey Spartacus don't you worry about me nothing sue can say will really hurt my lil ole feelings, I was just funning around. That ice cream sounds gooood. My son and I do this late night scrounge the fridge cooking and usually come up with some tasty treats. Nope no drug inspired munchies, just good old fashioned snack attack. The mendocino county sheriff's booking log is fun because we scroll through and see how many people we recognize and then you have to guess what they got busted for just by looking at the booking photo.

Only a heartless drug dealer would think that that’s an OK thing to do.
The pro-pot people keep pointing away from pot and in any direction but pot so they can keep poisoning our kids. Their lies never stop.
You say stop arresting mom and pop growers, the reason the schools of the nation are full of pot is because no one around here is arresting mom and pop growers.
Mendocino has thousands of Moms and Pops that love to market drugs to kids all across the nation.
We need to arrest 70% of the Moms and Pops or just keep arresting growers until there’s no more pot in the schools.

What pot is doing to all of Mendocino County and millions of school kids is madness.

I worry about the kids who grow up in around the marijuana grower environment. They are buying into the 'easy' money and now we see them in their 20's getting busted, getting hooked on meth and not making much of their lives. Some of them are the children of the mom and pop operations just continuing the family business. Is this what we want for our children?

M-m-m-meth is bad, mmmmkay? Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. Look over here while I distract you away from looking at my pot garden. I will now pull a coin out of your ear to keep you from seeing me sell my dope in a Memphis schoolyard. Abracabra! Here tae your coin and move along. Move along. Pay no attention to the dope grower behind the curtain selling his drugs to 4th graders. He is just teaching them about the ravages meth brings to society.

Yup, Checked it out and surprised to see a few people I know, or should I say I thought I knew. Funny thing is I was doing the same thing... guessing what they were busted for; DUI, Pot Cultivation, Battery, Meth, Meth, Meth... the meth ones are easy! I was however thrown by a few like the female for battery what had a black eye (huh?), and some of them young girls arrested for battery... girls! This is a very sobering web site! This reminds me of when I first quit drinking and using, I would go to court for arraignment. The good part is my name was never on the Docket. I would go to court and watch all those people go before the judge and face the charges. Then I would go to Sentencing, I know sounds very boring. Sentencing is a source of realization I will tell you for sure! The best part of a morning at Court, after you are there just to watch, is you get to walk out and realize what a gift sobriety is. I have five (5) lifetime DUI's; the first DUI was when I was 17. The last DUI was when I was 35. I was never arrested for drugs, but came close, VERY CLOSE! One night in 1997; it's a long story short, I was checked and found to under the influence of Meth, I also had a tiny bindle of it in my pocket. The police officer gave me a good chewin' and he must have realized I had just got caught up in something I shouldn't-a ougha been-a caught-up in. Long story short, he gave me a good tongue lashing and told me to wise up shakin' his finger in my face and let me go. I still know that officer here in Ukiah to this very day! We are friends, and we always stop and talk when we see each other and I can tell, he is very proud of me. We never talk about that night he let me go, but I know, and he knows he did the right thing that one night back in 1997. Drugs and alcohol will get you in jail. Stop using and drinking and stop abusing your body and your life. Get a job, a family and get a life. That is how you stay out of jail. Seems quite simple don't it (?) _Spartacus_
