Hmmm 3 out of 9 reports involve pot. 4 are for DUI. What seems to be the bigger problem? Growing pot or driving drunk? I believe if the individuals cnarged with DUI were suspected of being high on pot, the Journal would have certainly pointed that out.

Listen to your hatred. Crack and Marijuana aren't the same. You really need an education.$80,000 a year it costs to imprison someone. Over weed. Are you from the Nixon era? Way to make the world a better place. People who don't understand politics need to keep out of it or get educated. You're not part of our county so work on your own neighborhood!

....and you have no clue, little lady. I was born and raised in this county and was here LONG before our little place was over-run with CRIMINALS. Did you notice, Ukiah is no longer the #1 small town in California? I wonder why that is? I do not hate, I just believe criminals should be prosecuted.....

Is that's what's really wrong? I hate crime and abuse of medical situations. I also was disappointed to google all B endorsers on the back of the flyer to see majority winery owners who have donated large money to Bush. The people behind B aren't interested in supportin g small Ukiah business's. They are trying for building mini-malls and amking our county big commercial. Think what would Ukiah be like with a big Costco?? What did Wal-mart do to our precious Ukiah? I am for justice but B is Not it.$80,000 a year to pay for a prisoner. Why should tax payers be subjected to paying that for someone with 20 plants? Big grows are illegal! B doesn't change that! It creates criminals. A solution should be called for a signed upon by the community not the big money supervisors.

Your numbers are as scientific as your lust for dope. CDC's average
cost to house an inmate is $21,243 annually.....so, your only exaggerated by 300%, as is your way with all of your arguments. You, for one, are full of ****! Dumb-asxed pothead hazed-vision troll!

Why do you hate me so much? I am not this troll your visioning. Every prison is different and each need for a prisoner is different. Prison's are privately owned. So I gave the high number and you gave the low. So now whose so smart??

Once again, you are very wrong....

I fully support (VOTE YES on Measure B) Measure B and I do not shop at Walmart or Home Depot or Costco. But I also won't shop at stores in our community who obviously cater to illegal profits.

You people can't have it both ways.

You either want to be a community for all or you want to be the wackos you are.

Not YOU! I WORKED in the CDC, counseling prisoners re drug-etoh, and I know only too well the costs in dollars. So don't quote numbers that are wrong. Private prisons are plentiful in other states, but WE, are in CA.

Well, little man, being born and raised in this county gives you no extra rights. In fact if you are one of the "old families" you have Indian blood on your hands. Saying that you do not hate...hmmm review some of your posts and get back to me.

Give me a break! "to tell the truth"

No one is alive that has "indian blood on thier hands" or black slaves blood for that matter.

Think about this.. If there were no Costco, Home Depot, Wal-mart etc we wouldnt be bitching about the price of gas. We would be complaining about the price of goods. Its the same argument that "tree huggers" use when a tree is chopped down. What house do they live in?

I must laugh at Willits Girl though, she once again proves to me why sometimes I cant stand the people that live here. She honestly thinks that since Mendo Local does not agree with her that he MUST be intellectually inferior. Instead that you two might just simply disagree. I hope this way of thinking dies....now....please.

a memo from the CDC in 2006 says it costs approx.$35,000 per year, even shipping out prisoners, I doubt that costs have lowered.

First, you are right, I don't have a clue of what you are made of...but some pretty nasty words come out of your mouth.
I know that the "old families" Many living in Potter Valley and Ukiah Took their original tracks of land from the indians. They were involved in the Covelo death march of many of our indians. There was intentional, killing and stealing done by these honored old families, for their personal racist gain.
If this happened in your indian blood line I am sorry. But it really bother's me when they say they want to protect "our culture and way of life". I wish they would say Improve our culture and way of life.

Wow!
This thread is a blatant example that computers are not always smarter than people ..... or, at least the people I aligned myself with!
