Well I don't know what is happening with this case. I believe from last I heard, the county is taking their time to respond to the allegation. They might be going even slower as I understand one of the Corrections Sergeants who just got caught in his own sex scandal at the jail has hired an attorney and is fighting his demotion to Deputy especially in light of Barney's being allowed to not only remain the same but to also promote. I understand they plan to use Barney as the sample and use Cox's case to show how Tom takes care of his buddies and allow's intolerable behavior while attacking others for the same or lesser offenses. I bet the sergeant gets his position back to prevent the information from going public.

I also hear rumblings of further problems in the department and general discontent amongst all the deputies. I don't think Tom is going to fix this anytime soon.
