whats disrespectful is someone like yourself, calling a GOOD GUY who was just MURDERED by Marlin and his MOM, names which he isn't here to defend himself from! THAT IS BOTH COWARDLY AND WRONG! JIMMY LIVED THE LIFE OF MANY MENDO YOUTH!
I BELIEVE HIM TO HAVE BEEN A TRUE REBEL, DUE TO LIVING THE MENDO LIFE, EITHER WAY DON'T TALK BAD OF MURDERED PEOPLE ON PUBLIC FORUMS... ITS JUST WRONG! REDENIUS WAS NOT A WOMAN BEATING THUG. MAYBE IF MARLIN'S MOM HADN'T BEEN TRYING TO GET ON JIMMY AND HAD BEEN AT HOME INSTEAD OF AT THE BAR BEING A PROSTITUTE, MAYBE IF MARLINS MOM HAD RAISED A REAL MAN, INSTEAD OF A GUN TOTING THUG, JIMMY WOULD STILL BE HERE!

AND THE LOCAL SHERIFF FROM A YOUNG AGE,...(SKATEBOARDING, RIDING BIKE AT NIGHT, CURFEW ETC., SMOKIN A FATTY BY THE CREEK.... ANYTHING THEY COULD HARASS YOU FOR IN WILLITS) IS EXACTLY WHY NO ONE IN THEIR 20S-OR 30'S HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR MOST LAW ENFORCEMENT IN MENDO! HOW MANY OF THESE KIDS SAW THEIR BUDDIES "SLAMMED" BY **** LAW ENFORCEMENT? HOW MANY WENT TO THE HORRIBLE "JUVENILE HALL" FOR PETTY CRIMES, HOW MANY WERE TREATED BY STRONG MIND ALTERING PHARMACEUTICALS AT THE HANDS OF THE COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT AND COUNTY SHRINKS?

I agree violence isn't the way to deal with this but just as addicts deal with their pain through use of drugs and alcohol some people deal with their pain through violence. Oh and as for this being an annonomus forum. I notice the people who are making the, as you refer to them (threats of violence) are posting their real names. That shows me they are the kind of people who will truly stand up for what they believe in, even if their way may differ from others. REAL PEOPLE LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD unlike your self.

Our Jimmy is with the LORD he feels no pain, no hurt, no sorrow. He is watching over us. I am in agreement it is time for this to stop. I logged on today to stop my participation. The man I love has let me know he feels this is not healthy for me and I must agree. I know Jimmy for who he was I held him on the day he was born. I hugged him every day that we visited. I was proud to be his aunt and am still proud of his life on this earth. I don't have to worry any more about what people who didn't know him have to say because Jimmy's family and freinds and GOD above know who Jimmy was in life on this earth and the LORD has always known and still knows who Jimmy is now. I know this for a fact. The Marlin family was asked not to go to the trial for fear of the Redenius friends and family killing them. That is the absolute truth. Many of the Marlin family have had their lives threatened over this incident. Kelly Marlin's life was threatened over this very blog. When your asked not to show up for thier own safety and the safety of others at the trial there really is little choice. No one on the Marlin side thought a jury would convict a man for defending his Mother. However, the big mistake was not showing up and the Grandmother not testifying. All of the Marlin family wishes the Redenius family all of the peace and all of the best in their lives, Mike Marlin feels the same. This is the saddest day for both families.

I really think you should get your facts straight the grandmother did testify. And for your information and for the information of all those who say the Redenius family has threatened to kill people. Here it is The Redenius family were not even at the trial. I don't even know if any of the Redenius's know the outcome of the trial. Jimmy only had one aunt and one cousin on that side of the family who cared enough to call and ask how things are going. So you tell me why they would threaten to kill anyone? HIS OWN FATHER (THE SOB) DIDN'T EVEN FIGHT FOR HIM! The only person Michael Marlin feels sorry for is himself!!

It's a little late for wishing a family all the peace in the world. Normally if you wish people all the peace in the world you don't kill their beloved family member.They may wish them peace, but they gave them hell instead...too bad.The redenius family has every right in the world to be **** off. and it is not their fault the marlins have no guts.They should have shown up in court either way in my opinion. even if somebody asked them not to.it just shows a little decency and respect for the other family. after all,mike was the one who took a redenius' life.

The grandmother that I was referring to is Kelly Marlin. Yes, Jim Redenius beat up a grandmother. And the person who said she was at the trial is the one who is clueless. Jim Redenius had 70 plus plants of Bud. I don't care how big the plants are, if your growing, you protect them with a weapon. She would have testified with Mike that Jim Redenius had a gun and that's why Mike Marlin shot. All of the testimony from Kelly Marlin that was good for Mike Marlin's case, was not allowed to be read to the Jury. I hear the DA is running for office and had to win this case at all costs.

I know.I am so sorry you have to experience this in your lifetime.Nobody should have to lose their child like that. It is hard enough on regular circumstances.A lot of the people who sit on here and judge your son have probably never lost a child of their own..that is why it is so easy for them to be judgemental. They are not looking into a mother's broken heart, or the child's eyes who will never get to see daddy again.I respect you for standing up and defending your family.I am sorry things ended up so different than they should have.When men have problems with another man they need to be a man and fight like one too.There is no need for weapons.and why that thought even crossed this marlin guy's mind is beyond me.I hope you do heal in time.Just remember the good times and don't let people get ya down.
