It has been talked about in several circles, that the feds are in the county to show that the Medical marijuana is corrupting the local cops (county deputies and sheriff). From the pieces that I have put together, the feds are acting like small time growers and are setting up a sting to catch the local sheriff deputies confiscating more money than they turn in to evidence. Does anybody have any knowledge of any of this or have anything to add ?
Does this sound like a credible scenario? Anybody with any experience in this sort of thing think this is possible?

They used to say that about motorcycle clubs, too. They said that feds would create a dummy patch and infiltrate the motorcycle club scene in one town or the next.

Could be true. That was about twenty years ago; now you read about how motorcycle gang members work as confidential paid informants for the federal government and make millions of dollars. It's a lucrative business, and there's apparently no shortage of new takers.

So perhaps that's happening there, too. Same kind of situation, drugs/corruption/bad cops.

Get screwed. Law enforcement is just doing their job. I have never seen or heard of any MCSO deputies turning in less cash then recovered. It is just rumors to portray law enforcement in a bad light. Do you think they would risk getting caught? I don't think so. So Please get real. If it were not for us, you would have anarchy here.

Really , because i heard that they MCSO steals marijuana, has wife swapping trim parties, and sells the marijuana back onto the black market at $2000 a pound. I also hear that they may be selling automatic weapons into the black market just like the police chief from blue lake in humboldt, Gunderson.
http://www.latimes.com/news/la-me-bluelake4-2...
So we have confirmed cases of police and sheriffs doing serious criminal activity and hiding behind the blue wall to cover it. Well guess what, the feds may be here, and they may not be here for the growers.....this time.

Given the history of corruption and prohibition, it would be absolutely foolish to think "it can't happen here."

On the other hand, the forces of evil commonly work through the rumor mill.

If it's on the table, we should discuss it. If it's not, we should discuss it over beer, maybe, if we're bored (still, one should avoid the Biblical prohibition on gossiping).

We have plenty of weird stuff on the table to discuss.

Personally, I think the case is FAR more convincing that there's problems with the DA than the Sheriff (if those charges brought up during the last election bear fruit).

I'd sure like to see some other comment on those items, and if there's cause for it, I'd be able to set up a Sheriff recall site to match.

Right now, though, all I've seen on the Sheriff issue is gossip and hot air.

Compare that to the stuff on Lintott (look at the 'recall reasons' section):

Last night I spent some time watching a Measure B debate on www.ukiahvalley.tv and found it quite funny when Laura Hamburg and her pot pushing Doctor friend suggested that the County hire BLACK WATER to come clean up the commercial grows.

Here's a surveillance video showing two matrons celebrating their sale of one ton of confiscated marijuana to local school children. They had the keys to the evidence room, and made profitable use of them.

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

The ravages of drugs and rock and roll reach far into the law enforcement community.

Honey...
Im Really a Mendo Girl... and I know what Im talking about... Yes, there are a Couple of Good Cops...(In Both Lake and Mendo) but not many... Yes, there are a few of you who devote your Lives to Protecting and Serving... but there are far too many more who use the Badge to hide thier Corrupt Actions...Take My Advice.. If you are a Cop who is on the Up and Up... watch your back.. Most of your Inmates are more Trustworthy that your Fellow Cops... Just learn how to stay on the fence and out of the Piles of Cow Crap...And be careful who you associate with,...and what "clicks" you get in... And for those of You Guys who I know and Love...Be Careful Out There...

OK, Red. It's time to put up or shut up. You think you know all the details so how about citing some specifics and naming some names?

Better yet, take your EVIDENCE to the Grand Jury.
If you have knowledge of a crime and don't report it, you are no better than the criminal.

And be sure to name the agency or agencies involved, otherwise you are smearing all cops who work for all agencies.

UPD recently fired an officer for lieing. One strike for him and he was out.

Some years ago a UPD officer was rolling drunks, but only Mexicans. He was operating on the assumption that they were illegals and would not report it. When a couple of guys complained that their money was missing, UPD brought in a decoy and set up the crooked cop. He was convicted and sent to prison.

Not all cops are equally together, but we must remember that they have to deal with people like you. That would give anyone an attitude.

Well, according to the sheriff I dont own my own property and my claim jumping neighbors have every right to trespass through despite the no trespassing signs I've had up for decades.

They wont do anything about them speeding through and tearing up my driveway. They wont stop them from hiring pigs like Bud Garmin to do thousands of dollars of damage to my property. They put me in jail when one of these so-called neighbors attacked me on my own property, They told me the speedbumps/irrigation ditches I dug through the driveway should be covered up so the neighbors can speed again, they told me to pin up my chickens because the neighbors wont stop throwing their mcdonalds wrappers on the driveway.

Everyone knows free range chickens lay the tastiest eggs.

Ive spent and lost lots of money because of these tyrants and the judicial system here is out of whack.

There is nothing I can do because some of these neighbors are rich and go to the same churches as these wife-swappers.

sounds like a personal problem to me. sounds like your neighbors have a legal right of way across your property. the mist in your face is the inevitable result of trying to p*ss upwind.

They claim they all have easements but when you look at the deeds they tell a diffrent story. Shouldn't be my fault they were stupid enough to purchase property with no way to get to it.
