and 4 more just started. This does nothing to change anything. Another waste of taxpayers dollars. Just regulate and tax the stuff. A 5% tax on mendocinos marijuana would pay for all mendos public employees for 18 years. At the moment teachers are being laid off for lack of funds and we are worried about the largest source of income in the county. Brilliant thinking. Of course mendo local is from san jose, not quite local eh?

More Local than you think, my ip address says San Jose but I am born and raised right here in Ukiah...

We can save the good teachers by cutting the crap ones out...UPD already rid us of one....

I see, as long as there is money to gain it is O.K. to poison our kids minds, turn them into trimmers and teach them to be lazy good for nothing welfare, food stamp collecting millionaires

You are right, I see your point...NOT!

the location shown under each username is that of their ISP, not their actual location. and your argument is kind of hollow given that both parties were found in possession of significant quantities of other drugs as well.

hopefully the Eric & Heather have family nearby that can care for their kids while they are facing charges.

if they were illegal immigrants, then yes probably, as they would be considered a high flight risk; otherwise i'm not sure i agree

the daily journal is sponsoring measure b so they pretty much do nothing but report on marijuana. They are doing all they can to make it seem worse than it is to try to get measure B passed. They already were a terrible paper, but the last few months have been horrible. Too bad we don' t have a paper like in Ft. Bragg or Lakeport that are concerned with newsworthy items and not their own agenda.

he's actually been trying to rent them out on craigslist for a couple months; originally he even advertised that it was set up for growing and that the potential renters should just ignore the legal restraints on marijuana cultivation in our area as they were supposedly just going to be shot down.

More than half the money that comes from pot, comes from kids under the age of 18. It makes no sense to use pot profits to help education because way over half of the pot profits come from kids pockets while it's hurting their education. It's the same as saying lets disassemble education to help education. This sounds like typical pot grower thinking. Pot grower thinking is like military intelligence. Only a grower would say "Lets turn the kids minds off and take their lunch money to help education.

The only thing worse than the convoluted logic of the pot growers is convoluted logic that is listened to and believed.

Pot grower thinking!!!!!
"Lets use the money we make from poisoning kids to stop the poisoning of kids."

We need to be smarter than the pot growers for our kid's sake.

Pot grower thinking does one thing. It put money in the pockets of pot growers.

Vote yes on B
Measure B will not restrict those who have a valid need for THC. It will only restrict those who are making huge amounts of cash by poisoning our kids with illegal drugs and hurting their education.

So all the kids are growing and all the growers are selling to kids, and your argument goes around in circles. The children argument is the same one the alcohol prohibitionists used (and it was wrong then too). You obviously don't work in the school district or do anything to make it better or you would see that what you are saying is a complete fabrication of reality. You use children to push your ideas, but societies rules aren't based on children. The schools here are no different from other schools in the nation (I live with a teacher) and the people using the school kids argument clearly don't work there. Hell, half the kids in the schools in this town don't speak english. That's a problem, not a flower that has been around for thousands of years and hurt nobody.
