I don't, the authorities do it for me. I just point out the inconsistencies. If you are not Mexican you do not know what I am talking about.

Clearly, these were medical grows. I for one and sick and tired of these Nazi cops interrupting the work of these Good Samaritans. I heard they were donating most of that medicine to the San Francisco AIDS clinic, and any surplus funds to the Little Sisters of the Poor Orphanage. Where is the compassion, man?

i think a lot of times people try to read discrimination into too many situations, however in light of the arrests earlier this week in which the suspects were released, i can see where this might be construed as a genuine race issue.

however i think it's also important to understand that we don't always know all the factors involved. for instance, if they are illegal immigrants, they would be classified as a high flight risk. could it be that they weren't able to post bail? there could also have been other circumstances that would warrant holding them that weren't an issue in the other cases.

in any case, i hope you're wrong, because it would be nice to think that we live in a time of greater equality for all.

Stop with the stereotyping! I work with the children of incarcerated parents. My stake in this is that I deal with the direct result of such a crime creating measure. Is this an anti or pro pot argument? What I think is "cool" is fighting for what's right and just. I go to school and am a straight A. I did my homework...

Here is a report released recently about kids and pot. It describes many of the problems experienced by kids when they smoke pot. Marijuana depresses many kids because they can't function without their short-term memory.

This causes them to fall behind scholastically which in turn triggers anxiety.

I never said you push weed. Do you?
What I said was it's people like you who think you are helping kids.

You can't just take them away or out of a situation and then put them right back into the same or similar.

You can honestly sit back and say there is not a HUGE problem with marijuana in our community?

Then I stand firm on my statement....'it's people like you who think you are helping kids'- you are not. You are helping them to be just like their incarcerated parents and I'm sure making money from some grant or public funding in the meantime.
