D.A. opposes release of convicted rapist

There are too many grandmothers living peaceful lives to let Kirk Anthony Domingo run free. He may think it's cool to overpower and severely hurt some old woman. If so, there's no countering such an attitude and no protestations of reform or rehab will reach a trusting ear.

His violent crime and the insensibility of it tell me that Domingo needs to be under guard for life. If he is released from prison on parole let it be a lifetime of parole with one of those gps units permanently on an ankle.

This man should never be released.
If people only understood what this creep did to my grandmothers last living years.
She was afraid to be alone go to town stay in her own home that she had lived in for over 20 years.
He made her life misrable in a town she always felt safe in until the day he ruined it for her.
Personaly I think he should rot in prison...He got 18 years to life he hasn`t done but 12 years .....Why is he up for parole anyway?

I believe this man should stay in jail forever! What he did is so awful that he should not be released! After reading this story, it angered me! I think back to my grandma and boy it just made my skin crawl. This guy is so disgusting, to do this to this trusting lady. I hope he gets to stay in prison for the rest of his life.

Attorney Meredith Lintott is encouraging community members to express their opinion regarding Domingo's releases. The California State Board of Prison Terms is required to take public opinion into account when making their decision.
Too keep this man in prison, the mendocino community (and anyother community) needs to pull together and write to the state board to keep this guy out of the "free " community.It's everyones responsability to keep our homes,life, and community safe!! Let's keep him in prison!!!

typically in california, regardless of the initial number of years (example 2 to life, 18 to life) that means life in jail.Our former governor gray davis didn't let out a single inmate with any such sentence. All that mattered was it saying life in the sentence and thats what they got. THis sicko should have his nuts cut off in addition to the imposed time.

Please do it now while you are thinking about it. Letters should focus on one or more of the following: the vicious nature of the crime; the vulnerability of the victim; likelihood of the perpetrator to re-offend; and the need to keep him locked up in order to protect innocent people. The letter does not need to be long or articulate.

I think that this has all been taken greatly out of context.And to have a poll going against somebody you dont even know is all based out of ignorance,please check the facts before you choose a side,you cant always trust a newspaper,there are innocent people incarcerated as we speak but nobody cares about that now do they???

I am a firm believer that everybody deserves a second chance,So if he has done the time required before a parole hearing,Give him a chance to succeed in life!

So the date has passed,is it relly necessary to continue to post negative comments about this person?I didnt think so,lets grow up people and get some things going in our lives so were not stuck in front of a computer arguing and judging people out of our own bordom!

Even though this is an opinion poll some opinions can be very harsh. I agree that we are not ever in a position to judge others. We have never walked Domingo's path I am not excusing his actions but think about all of those child molesters out there that have scarred and ruined so many lives as early as birth until an age where the perp either dies or the victim is able to remove themselves or they die themselves die most via self-destruction. Why isn't the law just as harsh on those perps. From what we know Domingo's crime is horrible but if we are going to be harsh and judgemental and even to the point of throwing the first stone then why aren't the other perps that hurt our children paying for their crimes so severely. They get 6 years max for killing a child's soul and yet they are free to walk the streets again. The Sex Offender Registry is a joke still our kids are hurt every day. That is where our anger and outrage should be focused because our children our resource and the law does not protect this precious resource.
