Like I said-ask the FDA. Until it changes, its illegal! LMAO!<quoted text>
tghe federal gov't will NOT allow any studies about the benefits of cannabis, only the negative side. So, if you are not allowed to stuty the beneficial side of an issue, where would you find the reports about the beneficial side?

Then we have some common ground. Look, I am basically a Libertarian and a live and let live type of guy. If you want to grow a couple plants, big deal. But where I draw the line is growing more than you, the adult, actually use. That inevitably is sold (money laundering) and makes its way to our youth. And THAT is completely uncool. The problem is that the commercial growers (or growers growing more than they personally use) are using "medical marijuana" as a sham to make big tax free money. That is why Prop B is necessary: too many out of county idiots are coming here to break the law. It has degraded the county big time in the last few years. For those of you around a decade or more, you know that is the truth. |

F.D.A. Dismisses Medical Benefit From Marijuana By GARDINER HARRIS WASHINGTON, April 20 — The Food and Drug Administration said Thursday that "no sound scientific studies" supported the medical use of marijuana, contradicting a 1999 review by a panel of highly regarded scientists. The announcement inserts the health agency into yet another fierce political fight. Susan Bro, an agency spokeswoman, said Thursday's statement resulted from a past combined review by federal drug enforcement, regulatory and research agencies that concluded "smoked marijuana has no currently accepted or proven medical use in the United States and is not an approved medical treatment." http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/21/health/21ma... Here is more bad news for you druggies out there: Inter-Agency Advisory Regarding Claims That Smoked Marijuana Is a Medicine Claims have been advanced asserting smoked marijuana has a value in treating various medical conditions. Some have argued that herbal marijuana is a safe and effective medication and that it should be made available to people who suffer from a number of ailments upon a doctor's recommendation, even though it is not an approved drug. Marijuana is listed in schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), the most restrictive schedule. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which administers the CSA, continues to support that placement and FDA concurred because marijuana met the three criteria for placement in Schedule I under 21 U.S.C. 812(b)(1)(e.g., marijuana has a high potential for abuse, has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, and has a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision). Furthermore, there is currently sound evidence that smoked marijuana is harmful. A past evaluation by several Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and National Institute for Drug Abuse (NIDA), concluded that no sound scientific studies supported medical use of marijuana for treatment in the United States, and no animal or human data supported the safety or efficacy of marijuana for general medical use. There are alternative FDA-approved medications in existence for treatment of many of the proposed uses of smoked marijuana. http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/news/2006/new01... |

It sounds like your starting to mumble nonsensically. You're probably stoned. You say you want proof that pot is in our schools? Just ask any of the ever-increasing number of educators that are showing their concern for the kids by joining the "Yes on B" campaign. TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE READING THIS AND AREN'T INVOLVED WITH MARIJUANA! Please take note of the responce the Yes on B people get from the large and small commercial pot growers when we express our concern for the kids and public safety. |
|
|
to all the voters on this issue, watcher has not been above generalizations and exaggerations. NOT everyone voting no on b is unconcerned about all of our kids as you may be led to believe....if you want to vote yes on b, I respect your decision as my neighbor. I am pleased to be a part of a community that loves its children, and am worried about public safety as much as the next person. I do not agree with the yes on b standpoint...this does not make me some drug hazed idiot with no cares, it just shows I have a different belief of the correct approach with regards to marijuana. And just because someone responds to your posts, doesn't make them a grower! OK i admit I grow,... lettuce, beans, and kitchen herbs!

Coming from someone who claims "Pot is a gift from God," that is "high" praise indeed. Quit hitting the bong so hard and sober up. |

$500 per hour for your "thoughts?" with the unemployment rate rising, can you tell us where to get that job? It seems to pay more than you claim trimmers make, and with all these high school kids wanting to trim instead of work, they could make much more money just by thinking. Have you gone to "career day" at any local schools and spoken up about your career? It would be very useful to todays student. |

Again, hempheads, there are 7.5 million people in the greater San Diego area, including at least eight James M Kinders. The articles are not about me, so feel free to pound sand.

Yano, Kinder keeps claiming things very much unsubstantiated (much like his Measure B claims)
To wit: He claims not to be old enough to be the James M. Kinder listed, but he bought 70 acres for $100K? When did he do that if he's not in his sixties now? He claims that there are eight James Kinders in San Diego, but 411.com only shows two (both him, we would assume). http://411.com |
