Sounds like ya'll are back to same snarl.. if cigs are Worse than pot why are cigs ok and not pot.. Because they are legal???? So why not legalize pot? Then it 'd be ok too...Since LETTER of the law is your only argument it's tough to sympathize with your cause...

None of the names of the involved teens have been given, but all were either 14 or 15 years old, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Detectives said one of the girls is suspected of bringing to school two types of prescription drugs -- Strattera and Concerta, both used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder -- to trade with another girl for alcohol. The second girl gave a Strattera pill to another teen, who became sick after taking it and was ticketed.

I don't doubt you can find drugs and alcohol and prescription pills on school grounds. Even sex on school grounds. Cigarettes, too. You still haven't proven that these schools are OVER RUN, as you put it, with pot.

"You're right, all pot growers aren't the same, only 99.99% of them are."
"Pot people are violent, greedy and stupid."

99.99% of the pot growers lie about only ending up with a certain amount of pot.

"Sorry if I HAVE a problem with a dirtbag laying on his rear end, growing his way to $200,000 in tax free money, while the rest of America works hard and pays their taxes. Meanwhile, said dirtbag is capitalizing on the exploitation of our youth, while posing as a public servant. Don't give me any crappola that growers pay taxes on their grass profits, they DON'T. Yet they cheerfully use our roads, phones and public services, all paid for by honest citizens. Please do not tell me that they are morally equal to hardworking, honest citizens. They are SLIME, HUMAN WASTE, that are in violation of a host of laws including the Money Laundering Act of 1966."

You can probably get anything at any school so does that mean we should take away all of these things from adults: prescription drugs, alcohol, cirarettes, knives, and guns. No, of course not. And out of all the things I just named pot is the only thing that will not kill you.
Legalize, regulate, educate. Support HR 5843! NO ON MEASURE BS!

WRONG, ZIPPY! In fact, the inbred meth-head mentality around here dictates that yes, we SHOULD probably take away guns, knives, tobacco, Rx drugs, among other items that the banger-mentality folks that live in Mendo County shouldn't be allowed to possess. The 'regular, not pro-dopers should be allowed to carry on as usual, but the dummies who argue for the legalization of drugs (YES, JERKFACE, POT IS A DRUG!) should be banned from everything except cable TV and Nintendo. Stumblebum, narcoleptic ignorant fools think they're onto something, without realizing that they really haven't done anything productive except make $11 at Reggae on the River last year, and found a 'new' Jimi Hendricks album. Fogheaded aszholes! Get a clue! Kids who grow up in homes where pot is 'cool' also usually think that voting is 'dumb' and Social Security is a communist plot!

Watcher- I can't believe how ignorant you are.
Get this for all the crap that comes from "The all knowing Watcher" this whole time "Watcher" didn't know measure G was about personal use. "Watcher" better known as "ignorant" tried to tell me Measure G was for the "terminally ill" only, What "Watcher" failed to read was the Measure G. Here's the basics.

Watcher you must be very uninformed, ignorant, drunk, or all of the above.
Measure G is about personal use.
UKIAH, Nov. 8, 2000. Mendocino County voters approved Measure G, a resolution calling for the decriminalization of personal use and cultivation of marijuana, by a vote of 58-42%.

Organizers, led by the Mendocino Green Party and supported by California NORML, submitted over twice the 2,800 signatures needed to qualify for the ballot.

Entitled the "Personal Use of Marijuana Initiative", Measure G

Instructs the county government to support all efforts toward the decriminalization of marijuana;
Directs law enforcement not to arrest or prosecute individuals for personal use marijuana violations involving possession, transportation or cultivation of 25 plants or fewer;
Provides for the continued enforcement of marijuana laws against those who cultivate, transport and possess marijuana for sale.

Like I said the people of this great county are for freedom and tolerance, if you don't like it, tough.

So what I'm hearing here is...Whoever you deem as "unfit" due to their personal choices, should be rounded up and contained? Hey, I think I've heard of this idea before. I believe the Nazi's called this kind of an idea a "concentration camp"...

Wonderful idea there; why don't we just skip the whole detainment, and just give you an assault rifle and the legal authority to just kill who ever you want?

A MESSAGE TO MENDO'S SOUR GRAPES!

awe poor baby!
What are you gonna complain about "that no on b guy said burn all the yes on b signs"
get real you stinky snitch! Are you once again trying to scare me? It never works! I don't grow, plant, sale or smoke! so HAHAHAHA the Jokes on YOU!
I do however support peoples rights to put in their bodies whatever they so goddamn wish and I support the Medical patients right to grow as much marijuana as their doctor decides is best for them, and not to be controlled by a fascist local government that seeks to ascertain more and more power over peoples lives!
The People already voted Measure G into law, but oh no that wasn't good enough for all Mendocino counties old "sour grapes"! OLD "sour grapes" in Mendo can't stand to see the poor people of the county saying no to the $7.50 per hour jobs.
They can't stand it that "Billy down the road" makes 10 times more dough that "My little Joey, who got all the local scholarships which were handed down from my friends at the good old Masonic lodge and my other 'good old boys" friends at the Elks club and Rotary club,
Old sour grapes, can't take it that the growers have nicer trucks, or hotter girlfriends. Sour grapes can't stand the New Culture that has emerged in Mendocino, the fact that guys in their twenties have nicer land than old sour grapes has! Old sour grapes can't stand how the growers have bigger smiles, how the growers are happier, how the growers have more friends than OLD SOUR GRAPES,,,,,,,,,, SHALL I GO ON?

MEASURE B, DONT LET IT DESTROY mENDOCINOS CULTURAL HERITAGE!
VOTE NO ON MEASURE B!

"and 4 more just started. This does nothing to change anything. Another waste of taxpayers dollars. Just regulate and tax the stuff. A 5% tax on mendocinos marijuana would pay for all mendos public employees for 18 years. At the moment teachers are being laid off for lack of funds and we are worried about the largest source of income in the county. Brilliant thinking. Of course mendo local is from san jose, not quite local eh?"
__________
More than half the money that comes from pot, comes from kids under the age of 18. It makes no sense to use pot profits to help education because way over half of the pot profits come from kids pockets while it's hurting their education. It's the same as saying lets disassemble education to help education. This sounds like typical pot grower thinking. Pot grower thinking is like military intelligence. Only a grower would say "Lets turn the kids minds off and take their lunch money to help education.

The only thing worse than the convoluted logic of the pot growers is convoluted logic that is listened to and believed.

Pot grower thinking!!!!!
"Lets use the money we make from poisoning kids to stop the poisoning of kids."

We need to be smarter than the pot growers for our kid's sake.

Pot grower thinking does one thing. It put money in the pockets of pot growers.

Vote yes on B
Measure B will not restrict those who have a valid need for THC. It will only restrict those who are making huge amounts of cash by poisoning our kids with illegal drugs and hurting their education.

No, measure B will actually make felons out of personal use growers and hurts medical grows which is protected under measure G. This will lead to a big waste of money and resources and will put good people in jail. Mendocino County should not be concerned with personal use grows, keep measure G and go after big commercial grows.
