Ukiah man suspected of sexual assault

Let me just say that this really doesn't effect any of the Fetzer family who all actually have their life together. It's takes one f*=*=*g idiot to give them a bad name? I don't think so. This guy was disowned a long time ago and rightfully so.

I am glad you feel that way. But there ARE OTHER family members that are not Fetzers. They have their lives together. It still affects them because they have people that come up to them and want to hold a discussion about the situation like they are discussing the weather. Its no ones business and I think they need to let the family take some time for themselves. Its not just about the Fetzer family.

People so worried about the family of the offender. What about the family of the victim? Nobody knows how this effects the family as well as the victim. That is who my thought are with.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims family. Knowing the victims family and knowing what they are going thru is just awful. There is no defending Chris, what he did was well thought out. Drugs (pot) or alcohol should not be a factor in any of this, because to plan this out you would have been thinking straight. Drugging someone to rape them, especially a child defiantly a crime that deserves a great deal of prison time. With all the other jail time that Chris has done, hopefully this will keep him in prison for a long while, long enough to keep all the other children safe.

You guys, lat off the fetzer family. It was an individual of the family (chris) that has a severe problem. He has already been to prison once, will probably be convicted of this sex offense and do a lot of time incustody. Then he will be a regestered sex offender for the rest of his life. P.S. every family in the world has one or more members with some problem. This is not news!

actually he has been more to prison more than once. hopefully he goes back and they throw away the key.

Chris Fetzer has been out of all of the Fetzer's life for along time. He bears the name only. He has made all of his misguided choices by himself. NO ONE in the FETZER FAMILY will come to his aid!
It is sad and sick - his actions are not acceptable, he has made his choices on his own. He could of taken a differant road in life he had choices! He has been in prison several times - and now he will be there again! His DADDY will not bail himout - Trust Me!

I am horrified to see everyone just leaping to the conclusion that he is guilty.
He has a right to a trial....presumed innocent and all that.
God forbid if any of you Men choose the wrong woman and she accuses you a heinous crime.
Thats it- life over and the Woman always wins.
I think the story hasn't been completely told on this one.

rape is a crime dosent matter if he was on pot or alcahol. he is a sick guy and he should know better than tht poor child he is suffering so bad and all u guys do is argue about it thats not gonna help so be adults and stop being childish

I am a friend of Chris Fetzer. I met him when my family moved from San Jose, to Ukiah. We were around 20 years old at the time. Unfortunately, he has some issues that have never been addressed. This is an unfortunate story for all parties involved. I myself have been drugged and raped, and i am okay, however I understand the harm that stays with you for the rest of your life. Yes, it happens to males too. There is no excuse for it, and Chris will have to pay the consequences, however his family does not.
I also know that Chris legally changed his name back to be a Fetzer, after his father's divorice, and a new family. I wonder, why he did that. Well, you probably would too. However he has been a very distant relative to the Fetzer family.
I wish all parties well, for healing, and for Chris to hopefully, pay his dues, and become a better person in life.

I was in jail with Chris way back....he seemed to be just a drunk, whose family owned a winery.
Not a good mix.

He was very likeable and got along with everybody.

He did have family problems,his Dad ignored him and disowned him. His Grandmother seemed like the only one who tried to help him.

He said he wanted to be a teacher. Again maybe not a good mix.

The victim needs our prayers now. The Fetzer family is getting back exactly what they invested in Chris, payback is a ****.

Instead of giving your children money or material things, give them a hug and tell them you love them.

I am the grandmother to the victim and while everyone seems so concerned about the Fetzer family, doesn't anyone care about the victim and her mother? If Christopher's real father wanted to help his grandsons, he could pitch in now and help out. Where is he? I also understand that Christopher's mother and her husband are backing Christopher all the way. It is too bad Chris can't get more years in jail. He treated my granddaughters horribly when I visited there and tried to isolate my daughter. His overbearing and arrogant ways have caught up to him. I pray my daughter andher children can get out of Mendocino County before Chris gets out of jail. Can't any of you in that county assist this young mother, struggling to support her children? Trust me, she was the breadwinner there and thank God she had the good sense not to marry him!
