A Ukiah man was arrested on multiple charges of sexual assault against a child on Empire Drive early Wednesday morning.

Boozer family? A bunch of sickos? Why do you feel a need to stereotype the entire family? They are good people. Chris has always had problems, has been in and out of jail for drugs and alcohol most of his adult life. What he did is horrendous, but he did it. Not fair to put down the family, haven't they suffered enough?

I'm sure Chris Fetzer has never smoked pot and alcohol was his only problem. Right. Try again. Don't try to use his crime to justify yours, "change is coming".

I think you all need to think about things before you open your mouth. I have been involved in this family's life for the last 4 years and everyone of them have feelings. I am very upset to see that you are judging the whole family for something that one person has done. Its bad enough that when they go out in public they will hold their heads in shame because they know that when you look at them you are judging them for something they had no control over. They had no control over what Chris did. Its not fair that you hold his family accountable for his actions. Please think of the family they have enough on their plate.

The truth of all those occurrences is a fact that we, of our selves, placed ourselves respective in awkward positions, and had nothing to do with anyone else, either involved or not! Involved, or not because WE ALL HAVE CHOICES! Additionally, we are all responsible for where we are, what we are doing, saying, acting... whatever! Where you are this very second, as you read, is where you placed yourself. This Chris Fetzer, I do not know him, do not know who he is. There is only one fact I can tell you about Chris Fetzer: 1. He had a choice, he chose the path which is [alleged] evident now, the PUTZ!. I have said this before; they put schmuck like this in Jail to protect them from people like me - In a blink of an eye, say bye-bye! There was no Fetzer Family Council Meeting that convened to vote, decide or decree Chris Fetzers actions. Please do as Ms. Ashley's request so states, leave the Fetzer Family (other than Chris Fetzer) OUT OF IT! I happen to know a Fetzer or two, and they are a fine family, furthermore, they DO NOT have to hold their head down in shame. Small Town talk, or no Small Town talk! All the Fetzer Family can continue to hold their head high with respect of their family values with pride and integrity. To all Fetzers of Ukiah, stand tall and continue to be the great people you have always been before this Chris ordeal, and we'll see you around town and that's all... everything is otherwise normal, OK. HEY "change is coming"
My daughters bio-mom is an alcoholic, pot head and a meth addict. She's a multiple DUI offender. This so-called mom grew up with parents that grow and sell pot for a living. Didn't work out too good for her!!! So I know all about the drugs (yes, I consider alcohol a drug too). I'm taking care of three kids because of it, so don't try to tell me about drugs & alcohol you idiot. |

I'm just so upset that anyone would think I only care about pot and not all drugs that are hurting the lives of my children and others. Drugs (alcohol included) are destroying the lives of my girls bio-mom and it's hurting them tremendously. It's devastating for young children to have to stand by and let someone else be their mom because their own mom is too messed up to even visit them without supervision. They ask me, "why does mommy lie to us all the time?" "why can't mommy stop drinking and doing drugs? doesn't she love us enough to stop?" It's heartbreaking to hear these questions from children. So please, don't pass too much judgment on me because I'm anti-drugs. If someone wants to grow a plant or two... who cares, smoke a joint to help with illness.. fine...(just keep it on your property) have a glass of wine to relax... cool... but it's all gotten out of control here and I see the damage first hand. I see it in the lives of three innocent wonderful children that don't deserve all the crap they're having to deal with at such a young age. |

Its not just the Fetzers that suffer from the judgement of other people he has other family too. I hope you all respect them and do not pass judgment on them they are very respectable people.

I admire activists but remain wary of single-issue zealotry. It becomes painfully obvious when a report on a sex offender devolves into marijuana/alcohol debate. The root causes of this horrible behavior are many and difficult to pinpoint. One thing is for sure. When the name of a prominent family is involved, petty jealousy is transformed into righteousness.

I appreciate that everyone is able to say whatever they want because it a reminder to cerebral people that many go off half-cocked, and react to issues on a knee jerk level. There is no way a Fetzer would read the first comment and feel shame for what Chris Fetzer did because they know that the statement is made in ignorance. Fetzers are productive, decent members of society and cannot control each other any more than each of us can control our own family members. We do not bear responsibility for what our parents, cousins, nephews, and grandchildren do; we can only guide them by being upstanding members of society as the Fetzers do. And Ukiah mom, no need to apologize for stating what so many are thinking, share your experiencess so others can consider them..........a wise man once said that if someone has a different opinion than your own, you should truly consider it because he may have spent years and experience in forming it. Drugs are most certainly damaging our society, and pro and anti marijuana and alcohol people should be able to agree on that point.
