Medical marijuana is still legal and B is not. 4 cards times 6 plants still gets you 24 plants. So youve acomplished nothing.

GO ahead and start clogging up the system with farmers and wait for the repercussions. Most people have no tolerance for snitches. Good luck

That's right. If they are personal use growers, you can turn them in, and the local authorities will be permitted to use budget to bring them in (whenever the actual 'change' goes into effect, isn't there some kind of state certification that has to be done?).

Unfortunately, as Tom Allman told me yesterday, there's still no budget available for this, and he STILL needs more staff just to handle the regular, day-to-day stuff (my understanding was six new officers were required just to get us up to standards at all).

But if you guys want to increase taxes to pay for that service, I'm sure he'll be happy to oblige.

On the other hand, he'll have to be very careful not to damage or otherwise interfere with any medical grows, since he no longer has any authority to interfere with them at all, essentially (you took away Measure G, remember?).

So you probably should be sure before you even call it in, because gas is expensive, and you wouldn't want to waste it on a trip out to see some pretty flowers that you can't get.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Mendocino County voters who got it right! The pro-grow folks tried every shady tactic in the book to keep the greed going. Collectivly they: 1. filed bogus law suits - 2. destroied free speech and yand signs - 3. misrepresented the facts / lied - 4. send out misleading slate mailers - 5. failed to correctly report campaign expenditures - 6. brought in big money from outside marijuana interests - 7. registered voters illegally - 8. and tried some heavy handed intimidation of voters and campaign workers. With all of that, and maybe because of 'that' with their willingness to flaunt common decency and the law THEY LOST!!! Take back Mendocino County.

WOW way to go mendo i hope this community shrivels up and dies in the next year. if a real crackdown happens the ECONOMY will diminish. Mr. Liberty nice pic on saturdays "Chronc"le try to smile. and if you only pay 8 an hour get real who would want that in todays economy. work like 45 minutes to afford one gallon of gas. doesn't sound to fun does it. at least growers share the wealth a little better. you cheapskate. And as far as getting a "real" job my question is where? The UDJ classifieds only links you to yahoo jobs where there are pretty much NO JOBS in Ukiah. if you make minimum wage (8.00) you don't take home much over 1100 a month who can live off of that. so if anyone wants to pay like 12-15 an hour to start i am sure you might get some more applicants. maybe ask landlords to lower my rent a little too.

Wow.... I can't believe 47% of the voters here are potheads!

I was at the Registrar's Office yesterday and there were two guys voting that looked like they had just smoked a blunt! He registered for a party that "wasn't recognized" and didn't know what a "primary election" was! HA! All he cared about was voting on Measure B. Too funny.

I can't believe B pass by such a small margin.

So, now all you dope growers need to leave our County. Take your drugs and crime somewhere else... how about San Jose? I heard they have a no limit canopy city ordinance.

OKAY, SO IS SOMEONE FINALLY GOING TO MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT CRYSTAL METH AND HEROIN NOW? REALLY...TALK ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION...People's heads arent in the right places these days--on the left or the right-otherwise, we would be fighting a war on drugs that kill people. It is an absolute disgrace that this has been such a big deal (hmm hmm--a huge campaign funded by wine growers)when other things are destroying our community

How about using the asset forfeiture? The growers seem to have a lot more cash laying around than non growers.

Remember, Ukiah was thriving before the pot growers arrived, I'm sure it will be just fine when they leave.

And all the patients can stay. Now that we are in line with the state limits, that means we HAVE NO LIMITS! Unless and until Kelley is appealed, there are no state limits in California. Way to go, Mendocino!

By the way, how are you going to get the patients to leave?

If I understand the situation right (from the Yes on B side, which clearly tried to make the bandwagon pitch that 'yes, we are potheads, too, and we support Measure B'), the number should be closer to seventy to eighty percent pothead right now.

That's 'registered' voters.

Last night, at the No on B party, a bunch of the youth organizers were there expressing distress that, though they'd done all they could to convince their friends to register, the actual rate of response was about 10%(which is pretty normal for youth vote, actually).

I think you just gave them a BIG 'air-raid siren' style wake-up call, though.

If the numbers of apathetic youth were accurately reported by the organizers, and they wake up as it appears they are doing, you might see that percentage creep up to even ninety percent.

Believe me, we couldn't have asked for a better campaign tactic to get them registered. I think they now take the situation seriously.

Who are you going to turn them in to and for what what?

Measure B did not repeal Prop 215.

Measure B cannot and will not get rid of MMJ growers in your neighborhood.

Measure B did not include a provision for funding local law enforcement to run around every day checking physicians recommendations for MMJ grows.

Are you getting the picture yet?

Measure B does nothing except repeal Measure G which didn't apply to MMJ grows anyway.

Ya been bamboozled, bozo.
