If I did run for sheriff I just might be knocking on your door with a warrant. At least I would support all the sheriffs that wanted to enforce the law and protect the tax paying, law-abiding citizens of Mendocino County.
There are several sheriffs who would do allot better job than me. One of them is Sheriff Kevin Broin.

Mendocino County is not the police state you desire.....I am one of the tax-paying law-abiding citizens. I work, I vote, and I have a legitimate injury in which marijuana provides relief.....in fact I am one of the highest paid county workers you'll find. Yep, that's me keeping your county running. You should mind your own business and let your neighbors live. If they really DO have 1000 plants, then DO call the police/sheriff....now THAT is a real crime......and how about fighting the real threat here in this county METH METH METH. Good ol' "Country Crack" is what's destroying the souls (and mouths) of our young people. Where's the "SAVE MENDOCINO COUNTY FROM METH!" coalition? Watcher, you have better things to do with your power and energy I'm sure. Good luck with your "crusade".
