"Leadership & Integrity" kept Supervisor Smith from being prosecuted even at the recommendation of the Grand Jury.

she was just honored for her work with victims of violence and domestc abuse? My friend's husband beat and choked her in 2006. She had him arrested. because of the severity of her beating, they charged him with attempted murder. her restraining order is for 11 YEARS! Her ex-husband (they are now divorced) walked in off the street one day, asked to speak to a judge, and the da allowed him to plead to a misdemeanor.
TELL ME, HOW FIF LINTOTT HELP THIS WOMAN WHO IS A VICTIM? |

$20,000 is what I heard it would cost to recall her. |
I'm guessing you all have that laying around...or in a stump in the backyard. Now if you could just get together on the issue you could have your Doper Deeter in office. smile |

Wow, recalling your District Attorney because she is trying to enforce the law and electing a District Attorney because he went to prison and refused to prosecute law breakers......
This is truly an over "medicated" county. I think that a lower "dosage" (wait, Doctors won't recommend dosages because it is not a medicine) is is probably in order. Besides, at this rate, it is going to take a decade to get around to you. |

I keep my money in a bank, not laying around. |

i honestly don't have an opinion either way on Lintott, as i don't have enough information to effectively form one.
however, i wish people would learn from and learn to live with their mistakes rather than calling for a recall/impeachment/whatever at the first sign of things not going their way, as it's a process i think should be reserved for truly heinous acts |

wow, your assumptions are as big as your ego! i actually have looked at your blog and quite frankly it contained very little coherent information in my opinion - lots of allegations w/ very little content. i realize that there are quite a few rumors (many possibly true) about corruption in our local government, however i don't feel it is appropriate for you to blindly prop your tent in every single thread in this forum. |

to Mendo not Mendocino
Good Morning Bozo Boy are you suggesting you read the blog and are still so confused even tho the writing needs improvement and the reason I hired the professional, you are not getting it? Man you need a brain brother and probably you are one of the people movies are made for that don't do their homework and dig deep into the issues and make the connections that info provides Be thankful for us folks who think, do our homework, go deep, bring it all together, create a vision for healing and have the where with all to act in a grass roots action to make change If you and the others had bothered to get things straight with the legalization process, like the medical folks did, you wouldn't all be in this jam you could be like the adults in Colorado and the citizens of Seattle and all of the other places who like me take the time to do what it takes to make things right in our community Took me 12 years chairing a committee in SC to legalize owner builder homes - that was the beginning of the Green movement - from the work I did our supervisor took our plan and teachings we provided them at the county level to the state and the legislature eventually passed a state law providing for owner builder homes with use of solar energy and everything we see today becoming legal if I had had a blog back then, and it was in the beginning of the process to get people involved, it might look like this one does as the information is being sorted and organized and updated, and yes people with your limited consciousness and need to criticize instead of participate constructively for change, would think it inadequate the thing is by the time the 100th **** gets it, we will have done what needs to be done to make things right and you will be one of the folks like there always are, over in the corner scratching your head wondering how did we do that Trust me I know, thats what happened after the few of us who worked to get solar energy legal in the late 70's did with Jane Fonda and other good folks like Jackson and Bonnie and the Doobs and so on, all of us rocking the sun to legal use you would have probably been one of those guys outside the gate that didn't even remember to buy your ticket to the show because you did not have the vision to see how we would get from the chaos of that mess to legislation protecting the land and people's right to live on it in peace its all right, we all have a purpose here, and some of you got dealt a hand to be a watcher and complainer and some of us have been called on to act in the best interest of the community Perhaps the ego you are seeing is the mirroring of your own thru me Wait for the movie when it all comes together, and you may stand a chance of getting it then, if you OPEN your mind, like you might have the info on the blog if you hadn't already decided to disc it before you ever opened it I take it if you use the word assumption that you did not bother to read the grand jury reports evidencing very clearly what I said or are you discrediting them too? The content you seek is in those reports Seems like you just looked at the home page that I acknowledged needs editing and is in process now and quickly came back to this site to disc me so are you related to the DA, judge, or BOS etc or just lazy and confused? |

I vote no. |
for as intelligent as you think you are, i would have thought you wouldn't need to resort to name calling, but feel free if that's what makes you feel better about yourself. i'm frankly shocked by your assertation that it is I, not you, that suffers under the labor of an inflated ego; nowhere in any of my posts will you find me patting myself on the back or bringing attention to my accomplishments (whether real or perceived). if you've done the things you claim, then kudos to you; i agree that it takes people to recognize the need for and initiate change. i've not once even mentioned whether i agree with you or not, my concern is simply that you drag your cause into every single thread, proclaiming "look at me!" and attempting to divert the attention from the topic at hand. and since you're obviously SOOOO concerned about my lineage, you'll be happy to know that i have no relation to any Mendocino County government office or official, by blood or marriage, so you can save your self-important paranoia and conspiracy theories for your poorly constructed blog. good day. |

Has anyone bothered to look at Vroman's history? Please, if anyone of you can do a better job, you might try running for d.a., otherwise shut up!!! Vroman was worthless, and did many more worse things than any one of you know about.

Actually the guys with the jacked up trucks and 50 kw's humming will continue as they did prior to Measure G. No BIG growers in Mendocino County would dare get a card, most hope MEASURE B PASSES!
see, the less small growers around, the more the factories stand to make! LESS MARIJUANA=HIGHER PRICES LESS MARIJUANA=INCREASED VALUE INCREASED VALUE=INCREASED VIOLENT CRIME! PROTECT MENDOCINO COUNTY VOTE NO ON MEASURE B! |
|
Really? Like what? |
|
Vroman was apparently under investigation by the government (DEA or FBI i believe) for large scale marijuana cultivation. it was also widely reported that he had a penchant for firearms. |

LEAVE THE GUY ALONE ALREADY!
JUST 'CAUSE HE'S A TEACHER DOESN'T MEAN HE'S NOT HUMAN! HE'S DONE FAR MORE GOOD, THAN ANY "ASSOCIATION" WITH MARIJUANA CULTIVATION COULD HARM. This county is turning into FASCIST GERMANY lately, SOON THERE WILL BE TOWN HANGINGS AND LYNCHING BY THESE ROTTEN SNITCHES! If everyone is guilty by association then the whole county will soon be imprisoned! First off if you don't like AND IT MAKES YOU MISERABLE, it's simple MOVE AWAY! If you don't like the corn fields, don't move to a corn field! "Cause ganja is here to stay! sorry! THE ERADICATION OF MARIJUANA IN MENDOCINO COUNTY IS CROWNED WITH FAILURE! Even the Sheriff knows this, thats why he doesn't endorse Measure B! NO ON MEASURE B MEASURE B IS UN-MENDOCINO! |

District Attorney Meredith Lintott endorses Measure B
Meredith Lintott issued the following statement April 30: http://yesonb.blogspot.com/2008/04/district-a... She'll be just fine right where she is... Hey Mount dude - take note. |

My friend has been a card carrying medical marijuana patient in Mendocino County for ten years and has recommendations from three physicians who are treating him. He has no criminal record and has never had any involvement with illegal drugs. He was arrested in Mendocino County shortly after Lintott became D.A. and charged with felony possession with intent to sell for having 1.5 pounds of UNPROCESSED cannabis in his car. Lintott's office charged him and prosecuted him knowing full well he was a valid MMJ patient with extensive medical records showing he had been in treatment for the same chronic, life threatening disease for over 20 years. After a dozen pre-trial hearings and $22,000 in legal costs, the judge finally dismissed all charges against my friend. On that same day, the judge also dismissed charges against the FIVE other MMJ patients Lintott was prosecuting, over her office's objections. Lintott ignored all California statutes and California Supreme Court and appellate court decisions by prosecuting all of these MMJ patients, including my friend. I am a witness to the fact that she is definitely abusing the power of her office and costing the taxpayers hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of dollars prosecuting MMJ cases she knows will have to be dismissed under state laws. I think we should petition for a recall election and get rid of Lintott immediately. |
