Actually, a lot of people know Norm's story. He was quite famous outside of the county. I'd heard about him years before I moved here.

I think the worst thing he did was take some of the drug-war money and buy some silencers for the DA's staff's machine guns to go play with down at the shooting range, right?

He was one of the people I made a point of speaking with when I got here, actually.

I voted for him (even though he was dead). He'd probably still beat Lintott if we ran him right now (they never DID unseal those tallies).

Why the DA did not refer the Kendall Smith 'travelgate' scandal to the State AG office (recusal because of personal ties to Smith) is hard to imagine. The Grand Jury recommended prosecution of the 4th District Supervisor TWO YEARS in a row but it got no traction in the DA's office.

It's kind of funny that race has turned into a 'Well, she's not THAT kind of criminal' discussion.

I think that an honest "I am not a crook" trumps "I am not a pothead" any day of the week, any way you cut it.

During the Ms. Lintott election all I kept hearing and reading is "oh, we need a woman for DA, she is great, the best for Mendocino" etc etc etc...

Additionally, what a terrible person Norm Vroman was (may he rest in peace - a great man, one of a kind, and a class act fer sure!).

And now, now what do we have? we have a great woman DA, I mean that... I have met with and had great conversation with Ms. Lintott on several of my fortunate occasion. And I am here to tell you she is the ONLY, the BEST, ONE of a KIND, fabulous, well educated, sharp & cutting edge of Mendocino Law and Order that we have ever had!

Well, I would still take good ol' Norm back in a heartbeat... but, well he gone to the big gun range in the sky and shootin' straight sawbuck one after a'tother, oh you betcha!

So, all you Liberal, Democrat, Green Party, and especially the women voters who time and time again said "we need a woman as Mendocino DA - uh waaaa!"

I think we should petition for a recall election and get rid of Lintott immediately.

Names, court notes, etc..until then you're full of ****. I can come up with a dozen or so "friends" who can support the yes on B cause as well
