Why drop any of his charges? What kind of a person mistakes a turkey for a eight year old child? No matter what bs he try to give, a child and a turkey look very different. He is a DUMB!!!

At least he pled guilty, for that I thank him. He is owning up to his actions and saving the taxpayers the cost of a trial. Miss Nicole - If you are going to call people Dumb, at least proof read your comments before posting.Right now you are the one that looks dumb.

I feel bad for the guy. Hope he doesn't take a peek at all the anti-gun haters who are going to flood this thread.

He is human, not garbage. He is owning up to his actions; he will spend a lot of time in jail but nothing will top the punishment of losing his son.

Second degree manslaughter...he won't get that much time. i am glad he owned up to his actions and didn't try to fight it. i am sure he feels totally worthless as a person right about now...and his family probably is very upset with him, he will suffer. He already is..you can tell.

Although I am truely sorry for the rest of the family members for the shorten life of hunter. I have no sympathy for the father although this will haunt him for the rest of his life He was teaching him the wrong things. Lets see hunting without a lic. trespasseing for starters oh yes lets have a buzz on too. Its to bad the little boy didnt get to learn the most important one Know what you are shooting at and whats beyond. What a scary thought shooting your little boy at 20 yards away. I truely hope this scares you and everyone else who reads this I know that the actions of this man scares me because myself and my family are in the woods also.

Look him up on the court system site. He has been convicted of indecent exposure among other things. Nice.

I am pleased that at least in this article, Klaseus was not reffered to as a hunter.

Whether he's behind bars or not, he'll do time for the rest of his life... Absolutely senseless - there's just nothing left to say.

This guy broke every firearm safety rule there is, and he's paid a very heavy price for it. When we talk about firearm safety, it's important to realize that the rules, regardless of how silly they may seem, are usually written in the blood of someone's mistakes.
