Since he's been in office, Obama has been as much of a part of the problem as McCain, Hil-Bot, and Bush. Just another head on the body of the beast. Obama is a PATRIOT and the only man who can lead our once great nation out of the moral decay, anti-environment, pro-buisness, anti-worker, pro-wealthy, anti-poor, anti-middleclass hell hole that has been created by bush and the other un-american republican drivle that is leading our once great nation. It is no wonder that children do not want to stand for the pledge of alegiance when so many people just want thye republicans to go away and let people run the govenment once again. i kinds doubt that bush will even leave after his term is up. i would not be surprised if he declares terrorist among us and declares martial law and refuses to give up the presidency. A revolution may be needed to get the republican swine to give up power!

That's our secret plan to convince people that the Iraq war is the most idiotic waste of life and money this government has achieved thus far. How'd you know? I know by reading all of your post's. I know by looking at history. I know by seeing your little bike riding buddies stopping rush hour traffic on the news (In preparation for the RNC, their words not mine). But most of all, I know because you and your merry band of idiots proclaim on websites and in the paper that your going to disruptive and/or 'civilly disobedient'. Your all like a bunch of 2 year olds. You dont get your way and you throw tantrums and throw things.

Is that Bush's fault too?

McCain and any one else who participated in this unconstitutional, illegal war deserved what they got. We invaded a sovereign country that served no American interest and DRAFTED our own people against their own will. We should be ashamed. Somehow, it's heroic to honor a guy like McCain? Why not honor the Nazi SS? What's this "we" crap? My history lessons tell me that democrats got us involved in Vietnam. Don't EVEN try to pin those mistakes on Republicans.

Did you not read the whole article?
"In 2000, however, protesters at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles won a court order allowing them to set up a stage within yards of the Staples Center."

If you want to vote for a person who will Change America for the Better then don't vote for mccain and instead vote for Mr. Obama. He is the one true Patriot that will stand up to the empirical republicans and save us at the bottom from the doom that the republicans are responsible for. republicans have continualy given massive tax breaks to the wealthy and big buisnesses while the rest of us are forced to pick up the slack. We at the bottom work two and sometimes three jobs just to put food on the table because republican policies are forcing food prices to skyrocket! Again the benifactor is big buisness like general mills and cargill. we need to take back America from the republicans and the rich and force these people to give back what they have financial raped from us! we also need to change our attitudes on the environment becaus ethe end will soon come if we don't force people to curtail their reliance on oil! CO2 is a deadly poisoness gas that treatens to heat our world beyond repair! republicans aere to blame for most of the bad things in America and the republicans in Minnesota are SOULY to blame for the bridge collaspse. I support Mr. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT AND i KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IF HE IS NOT ELECTED the world as we know it will be doomed forever! Mary is a troll with a smelly crotch.

Well at least normal people know now the area to avoid. If you must go near the protestors. Bring deodarant, ear plugs and a fire extinguisher to put out all the burnign flags. A helmut might not be a bad idea either since some of these losers are only hear to trash our city.

Kristin wrote: "One of the protesters' main complaints is that the city is accommodating demands by the convention over theirs." Really!? No...I don't believe it. Maybe, just maybe its because the RNC is PAYING to have these accomodations! And bringing in revenue rather than scaring off potential customers because of loud yelling and picketing. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for freedom of speech and having the right to express your opinion, just don't get in my way while you're doing it because I'll swerve at you with my car - no matter if your republican or democrat. Personally, I plan on getting as far away from teh Twin Cities as possible during the convention. Kristin, considering this election we have positively no choice for future presidential candidates - I'm with you.
