The body bag manufacturers made out well in Vietnam, 55,000 of our soldiers had to come back in them. I don't know whart sort of casualties you prefer, but peaceful people like neither. Those 55,00 body bags that you speak of so cavalierly, contained the remains of our countrys heros who were sent there by two socialist presidents, Kennedy and Johnson.

The Angry American's guide to democracy: - Vote red or blue. - Shut-up. - Turn on the TV. At least that's what I can make of all the angry posts. Like it or not, democracy can be loud, messy, confusing and a whole lot of work. When we see our constitution in crisis; our children facing a future of debt slavery; our nation acting like an unstoppable bully; poor folks going to jail while rich crooks get promoted to a cabinet positions... well, we'd better hit the streets and scream about it. If we don't, we might as well hammer a nail in the coffin of the American experiment.

Cavalierly?!?!? Get outta here. I'm the one who values life, while the rest of you favor stomping the life outta anything that moves. If I sounded cavalier, I am sorry. It was not meant that way. Did I sound like I was blaming the right for Vietnam, or are you making assumptions? You right wingers sure have thin skins. Why so defensive?

Not to excuse the other two, but it was Eisenhower (Republican) who first sent our troops to Vietnam.

Not to excuse the canard you are trying to perpetuate....But, there are more American troops in Cuba today, than were sent to "advise", and maintain equipment, by Eisenhower. Vietnam is, will always be, the Democrats war of "Choice"

Vietnam is, will always be, the Democrats war of "Choice" Just feel it's important to be accurate when distributing blame. It was Eisenhower's adminstration who first supplied soldiers and Eisenhower's adminstration that early on was carrying 80% of the cost of this war. No Canard being perpetuated here, anyone who has ever studied history or wants to pick up an encyclopedia can verify this for themselves. As I said, it is not to excuse Kennedy and Johnson, but when slinging mud, let's make sure all faces are hit. It is very possible that if Eisenhower hadn't supported the French in the first place, the Vietnam War may have never taken place.

How do you figure that you have the right to destroy property, public or private? In my opinion you are what is wrong with this country. To protest is one thing, to destroy anything in the process is pointless and just tells me that you cannot get your point across without being destructive. I'm sure you would love it if someone burned down your home in the name of being heard...
