These Socialist Anarchists haven't learned a thing from the anti-war protests of the Vietnam era. They are a fifth column that supports the enemy and furthers their cause, thereby costing more U.S. lives.

Send them to Iraq, and use them for IED reconaisance if they really want to do some good.

I wonder if Osama bin Laden will make an appearance at the RNC? It'd be nice to get these like-minded people together...

As a strong anti-war person, I sincerely hope that "militant" is not the proper description for a protest. Anyone who plans on representing the anti-war position should do so respectfully, intelligently, thoughtfully, and even emotionally. Militantly? One of the definitions for militant is "engaged in warfare, fighting." I thought that was what we were opposed to. Please give the world a positive view of the anti-war movement.
How can you strong and ant-war in the same sentence?
Better words come to mind like coward!

It is easy to be stronly anti-war. It is also easy to cowardly not speak up when you feel your government is unnecessarily putting brave men and women at risk. It is possible to be strong in your convictions, and strong in your belief that using the persons and finances of this government for a war need to be looked at with a critical eye (and for the grammatically-challenged, critical does not necessarily mean negative).

Obviously the Conservative movement has lost sight of what it means to be American. When the American public disagrees with what it’s government is doing they should protest, they should march the streets of Washington (or Saint Paul if there is a gathering of Right Wing war mongers assembled) and show how they feel.. Politics have become an “arm-chair” issue for both sides as of late…

Comments like “I can’t wait to beat you up” and “I hope you get violent so we can watch the police hurt you” are obvious signs that the Right Wing movement is just a bunch of Jacked up testosterone filled children. Sad that this country has become what it has. Though I don’t agree with the Left Wing side of politics anymore that the Right, I am still protesting the Right for crimes committed against humanity and their complete disregard of the constitution.. I would protest the Left if they were in Saint Paul too..

Ignorance is obviously what this country is made of today, the founding fathers are turning in their grave in utter disgust! I hope for the sake of this country that we reverse course and hold those in government accountable for their disgraceful actions!

It's also easy to sit behind a computer and post comments while being protected by the same people you want to protest.

You are correct. You will find me and my X-Seal buddy in our lawn chairs smoking cigars and flashing our "protest the protester" signs. In the face of terror and murder the call for peace in not patriotic, its cowardice. Patriotic dissen is a luxury provided to those protected by better men them.

The First Amendment allows the "right of the people peaceably to assemble." Over in Iraq, we are supposedly "fighting for our freedom", here in America exercising that freedom is defined as self-righteousness and deemed unworthy. Apparently and thankfully, our forefathers deemed the right to assemble worthy. A more spirited and creative march does not mean a violent one; assumptions are being drawn here. Participation is for each individual to decide for themselves, but use caution when mocking the right to do so. Support for the cause is not required, support and respect for the First Amendment is.
Spoken like a true left wing dingbat. Go ahead and quote the constitution, that's what cowardly pukes like you do when you try to justify violence. Of course, nobody here says that you cant protest, just that protesting violently or 'militantly' as the story says, is not only wrong, but should be greated in kind.

we will do anything that needs to be done so that our voices will be heard. the republican slime that will invade St. Paul this September must be counteracted by the will of the people. the bush administration has done nothing but kill our children for oil, ruin the economy, rape our Earth, and destroy the middle class so the rich could get richer. mccain most likely will continue to tax the poor and middle class at ever increasing amounts while most likely letting rich people pay no taxes at all. that seems to have worked well the last 8 years as the average Americans wages and benifits have declined almost 15% while the rich saw their earnings increase 35% or more. we will be heard and if it takes burning St. Paul down than so be it!

I would gladly buy you and buddy a Padron. Thank you for protecting my loved ones and all the cowards on here showing their true, socialist colors.

We are all lucky to have heros like yourselves willing to lay it on the line, while the rest of us have the luxury of battling back-n-forth with comments.
