Hey Jack ... off with your back bacon approach. Now grab some beer and donuts and take off you hoser! Eh?
I'm as cool as a blue ... sittin on my chesterfield after being out about in my boat.
So do you guys actually vote in up north in the provinces ... or just just wait for the Queen to return?
David, not sure what part of country you're from but highly doubt you "are sittin on your chesterfield after being out about in your boat". Actually you sound more like one of those angry protestors in downtown StPaul we saw on the tube last 3-4 days. So just take your angry smelly body and get out of our town.....go find some other city and do your demonstrating, fighting for your dear Barack Hussain. After tonight,he will need all the help he can get.

David, I'm guessing you don't have children, because if you did, you would realize that at some point in their adolescence, they develop a mind of their own and the ability to make independent decisions. At the age of sixteen or seventeen, a girl in this day and age has been told time and again to use condoms. The fact that she didn't, at her age, was her own decision. That no longer falls on her parents, and besides, even B. Hussein Obama says to leave families out of the political race. It is a cheap shot obviously made by a person or people grasping at straws. I have total respect for Sarah Palin, and, as an OIF veteran, Hooah to her son for his deployment!
On the contrary, two with three grandchildren, all female.

Now before you try to call the kettle black (cheap shoot), look at what you wrote you ignorant, racist oxygen robber.

It's unfortunate your service time ended and you returned home alive. You're the epitome of what is wrong with the so called conservative fragment of the Republican Party.

<quoted text>What business is it of yours or any of ours why Gov. Palin went back to work only a few days after giving birth???? A mother can still return to work and tend to her family.......Yeah that's right....the republicans put a little hidden ear piece in the ears of MR Palin and Mrs. McCain and prompted them exactly when to pass the baby off to Mrs McCain. Additionally, do you have some sort of issue with special needs individuals that you felt the need to identify the baby as "DS". Who cares! So he is ~come on, say it.......Down Syndrome. You're showing your ignorance..........
One last thing, If Bristol would have been on stage last week and wasn't holding the baby, I assure you that most would not have recognized that she was PREGNANT. The more common reaction may have been that she was overweight like allot of young teenage girl these days or it would have gone unnoticed all together. I've seen many young teens wearing their little "muffin" tops and letting it all hang out and i've also seen the ones who wear the tops that make them look pregnant (when they aren't) simply because that is the fashion style these days.
Bristol doesnt look muffin top. She looks like she swallowed a basketball. And today's fashions usually don't include gigantic baby blankets. And, in trying to conserve space, I typed DS. No ignorance there, I'm afraid. Name me anyone you know who returned to work 3 days after giving birth, which is hardly condusive to bonding with baby, DS or not. I seriously doubt Palin's family values. She has a son that is headed to Iraq, but admitted she really hasn't paid too much attention to the war up to this point. She wants abstinence taught in all schools, yet prego daughter has clearly demonstrated that she herself doesn't even listen to her own mother. Palin chose work over a newborn baby who perhaps needed his mother more than most infants would at birth. Palin is an egotist who looks out only for Numero Uno and a hypocrit of the worst possible kind. Since I touched on fashion, I'll add that she really needs to ditch that beehive hairdo.

Its about the lack of substance, the phony, made-up "All American" facade the individual purports to be real. The family parade, the soon to be son in law crapping his pants because the individual you defend threatens what is now left of his miserable, pathetic life.
She is as fake as the hair that sits atop your bald melon that contains the raisin you call a brain.
You are the stereotypical "homer" and it shows. If that's your basis, we can only pray you've not been allowed to reproduce.
My, my David ,you appear to be upset about something. Was it anything I said, or are you in the midst of a spat with your boyfreind? By the way, what is a stereotypical "homer"? is it something you eat, or something you just admire?

You know, I am not a huge fan of Pawlenty, but I would have much preferred him. I have to admit when I heard the news I was bummed for Pawlenty. I do think he would have done a good job, even if I don't agree with all of his policies.

You are being really unfair. I think what is fair is to hold the media accountable, who like to drone on about celebrities who get pregnant young, and somehow this is ok. They should shut-up in both cases.

Correct in that she advocates for the pre-born. It's after the birth where she apparently has the problem.

Keep on talking. Your complete ignorance only continues to be more evident. Now it's the hairdo that your attacking? You seem to be a critic on everything. We're all still learning about the once unknown Govenor Sarah Palin yet you seem to be the expert on everything from how someone disguises a pregnancy (gigantic baby blankets) to how many days a new mom should remain home after giving birth. Hell, on most instances a new mom is released from the hospital the next day after giving birth. Yea, it's folks like you that I want getting their noses in my personal affairs and running our country. Hopefully you have more important issues on your mind than fashion, hair and why Governor Palin returned to work 3 days after giving birth. Incidentally, did you always listen to everything your mother said or taught? I think not.

You are a farm girl aren't you. Kubbie did not say wear (or where if you prefer), Kubbie said USE condoms. There is a difference.
Geez, you guys just don't get it do you? Where's the BOY in all this? Don't the BOYS "use" or "wear" condoms? Or does the GIRL have to do EVERYTHING ? But as Jean suggested, the GIRLS really are more responsible... forget about the poor boys who have a difficult time grasping such simple ideas.

Nowadays, sos, insurance will not cover more than two days hospital stay after giving birth, so new mother's are released. I stand by my posts that I think it's peculiar Palin raced back to work after having her child. Face it, she is an easy target. She is all about image. Period. Did she write her own speech? Doubt it. Alaska is hardly the political hotbed, so her "executive" experience doesn't quite cut the mustard. McCain chose her knowing it would cause a media blitz. He only wanted the attention. She is not qualified to be one step away from the most important position in world politics. Judging from McCain's lackluster speech, it might be closer than anyone realizes if he takes office. Oh, and to continue my image theme - I believe McCain was wearing more makeup than Palin!

And I stand by my posts that it is none of your business as to why she "raced" back to work after she had her child. Why is that peculiar to you???? It is a non issue. These folks all have a helping hand in the writing of their speeched Republicans and Dems alike. Don't act like such a fool. You're really grasping for something and coming up with nothing concrete to **** about. Now I get it, because the state of Alaska is tucked away and we don't hear much from them, they have no experience in politics???? That's right, just keep sticking to that kind of small town mentality of Rockford Minnesota! I hope the rest of Rockford doesn't think is this manner. Please keep your rebuttles coming. It's great humor for my new book.

sos, it IS an issue. Don't you get it? Palin talks "commitment" and "hockey mom" BS, but can't stay home with an infant who has a disability. THAT'S the issue. She will only pick and choose what she wants to associate herself with. Look at the Bridge to Nowhere fiasco. Flip flop when it was apparent it was going to make her look bad. Commitment: perhaps she needs to check Webster's for the definition.

Lets look at the facts a little:

CLAIM VS FACT
?"Hockey mom": true for a few years
?"PTA mom": true years ago when her first-born was in elementary school, not since
?"NRA supporter": absolutely true
?social conservative: mixed. Opposes gay marriage, BUT vetoed a bill that would have denied benefits to employees in same-sex relationships
(said she did this because it was unconsitutional).
?pro-creationism: mixed. Supports it, BUT did nothing as Governor to promote it.
?"Pro-life": mixed. Knowingly gave birth to a Down's syndrome baby
BUT declined to call a special legislative session on some pro-life legislation
?"Experienced": Some high schools have more students than Wasilla has residents. Many cities have more residents than the state of Alaska.
No legislative experience other than City Council. Little hands-on supervisory or managerial experience; needed help of a city administrator to run town of about 5,000.
?political maverick: not at all
?gutsy: absolutely!
?open & transparent:??? Good at keeping secrets. Not good at explaining actions.
?has a developed philosophy of public policy: no
?"a Greenie": no. Turned Wasilla into a wasteland of big box stores and disconnected parking lots. Is pro-drilling off-shore and in ANWR.
?fiscal conservative: not by my definition!
?pro-infrastructure: No. Promoted a sports complex and park in a city without a sewage treatment plant or storm drainage system. Built streets to early 20th century standards.
?pro-tax relief: Lowered taxes for businesses, increased tax burden on residents
?pro-small government: No. Oversaw greatest expansion of city government in Wasilla's history.
?pro-labor/pro-union. No. Just because her husband works union doesn't make her pro-labor. I have seen nothing to support any claim that she is pro-labor/pro-union.
