1 Since the initial shock of franken having power over my life has worn off, I just can't find much reason to care which one of these large government special interest tenders ends up giving my tax money to someone else. |

4 I am not a fan of career-politician Coleman, but Franken is an absolute idiot, and his fringe politics do not mesh with the values of hard-working Minnesotans. (And yes, I grew up there) |

3 Maybe you grew up here, but you're not a Minnesotan. This here's a blue state with deep, pro-people values. There's nothing off the mark about him. I did grow up here and I STILL live here. I see people suffering, I see kids missing opportunities, I see the resulting crime and poverty. It's been too long since you've been home Tom. Maybe in Montana people desert their brethren. In Minnesota we treat our neighbors better: with respect for humanity and a push in an uphill direction. |

2 Also, Franken's absolutely failed attempt to apologize for his not paying income tax in 17 states (which he dosent even acknowledge) and workers comp in 2 others is also a total joke. Nice try Al, but your campaign and your candidacy is making us the laughing stock of the country....again!(see Ventura) |

3 So much for 'conservative' spending. It's like going out to dinner and getting stuck with the bill while they sneak out the bathroom window. |

2 Is it my concern that I need to pay for someone else's college? My family was poor, I worked hard, took out loans, and paid my own way through college. There is no God given right to a college education. If you want it, earn it. Exactly, how does the DFL protect jobs for "hard working Americans"? By not allowing us to create new jobs drilling for our own oil? By raising taxes and minimum wages, so small businesses are forced to layoff employees because they cannot pass these added costs on to their customers? "Pro-People Values" are allowing someone to make the most of themselves, letting them learn from their mistakes, taking personal responsibility for themselves, and trying to individually make the world a better place. It's obvious government cannot do this. They have been stealing and redistributing money for decades to help the homeless, the poor, the minorities, the children in schools and on and on. Yet, we still have large numbers of homeless, poor, and schools never seem to have enough to curb their insatiable appetite. Maybe it's time we dump all these useless programs and force parents to be parents, and have them take care of the kids, so I don't have to. There are no guarantees in life, and as soon as we think we have right to everything, we will end up with nothing, including the loss of our freedom. |

2 Sen. Coleman chooses to engage in gutter politics; why should he be angry when the other side heads down to gutter to fight back? |
