Midwest Air to ax 40 percent of its workers

1200 more people loosing their jobs, Add them to the group that includes Ford plant workers, Northwest Airline workers and others who have lost their jobs revolving around high energy prices. Environmentalists, Democrats and RINOs should have to meet with them to explain how important it is to save the caribou and tundra in ANWR and explain what a good job they have done.

This is truly devastating.

I agree with call me AL. All of this is bad for the American workers. When is this country going to do something!!!

Midwest is THE BEST. They have Lenies and warm cookies. I can't think of anything better than that. What a shame.

This is certainly not the time to be working for an airline.

More than a little. That's why I smile so much lately, all those SCABS and their friends at the formerly "Home-Town" airline are going to feel the job cuts and transfers (not in that order!)
