A sneer at Ron Paul betrays an inside-the-Beltway mentality

Now that Hillary Rodham Clinton has conceded the Democratic contest, we are faced with the prospect of another round of boring, scripted party conventions.

Nice.
Thanks for the insight.

It's going to take a few more years for Americans to see how perfect and simple it can really be. We should put the constitution on cereal boxes......

Great column, Paul. Once again, we've been saddled with two lousy choices for president. We're screwed regardless of which one wins. Might as well **** our savings away now before the economy collapses (the rest of the way). Why not max all of our personal credit cards out?.. Our federal government has maxed our national credit card out.

The main difference between Hitler and Saddam (apart from the fact that Iraq was an inherently weak nation with little likelihood of ever becoming more than a regional power) is that the US PUT Saddam into power, directly, in order to counter the Ayatollah.

Honestly, it's like we're living in a bloody comic book, destroying one enemy just to create another. It's all entertainment, I guess; at least until we have $10/gallon gas.

Hey!

You aren't allowed to say anything good about Ron Paul. Haven't you read your official Journalism Rule Book?

Sorry, but you certainly have no career future in journalism with this type of honesty.

McCain could care less about the Conservatives he alienates. He's counting on the refugees from Hillary's camp to get him elected. They know a good Democrat when they see one, and McCain's their man.

McCain in mentally unstable, and has yet to account for his "I hate the gooks" comments. His delusion that Goldwater was his mentor, when Goldwater's very own son indicates Rep. Paul is the man, shows how deranged McCain's thinking is.
