I thought they left off the second and third page because there certainly was not any new news in the first page.

After your favre/thompson post in which you broke down, I thought maybe you saw a bright light and became a changed man. What was I thinking? When Aaron starts showing flashes of Dickey, you might just remember back to a day when you kicked your only superstar to the curb. A curb in another town Go to Fantasy 101, that's where your posts belong. I get a kick out you though, last year Favre was an over the hill interception king, now because we are done with him, he is a superstar, you are truly a lost cause.

Geez! Did he take a page out of Richard Nixon's memiors on how to stage a cover-up? What a weak non-denial denial. Hmmm... can you say guilty? Childress really didn't help himself out with this one. Even if you did it -- LIE ABOUT IT.

If any teams [cold weather] need more help at quarterback than the Bears,Lions and likely the Packers too. It probably isn't the Vikings,Jackson has the talent and the arm to be the best in the division this year and for many years to come.If Bevell or anyone else was stupid enough to cross some uncertain line on this deal,it would likely be on a personal level and not an organizational one.The Pack is barking up the wrong tree and may be penalized draft picks for unsubstantiated accusations and playing hardball with the wrong people at the wrong time for the wrong reasons. I hope that is the case .Brett is a good qb that's a fact.Like most others tho, if you rush him hard enough,he is not nearly as accurate or as wonderful as the scribes and packer fans like to believe.

The Inquirer soon will publish a front page piece about Favre's secret love affair with Brad Childress.(Okay, not!!!) If jumping to conclusions were some Olympic event, I'd feel supremely confident that the U.S. could assemble in five minutes a team to bring home the gold, the silver, and the bronze from Beijing.

Brett Farve can tip the scales of power in the NFC. He is blazing a trail for people like TO, Chad Johnson, and the other megalomanical egos by telling them to retire and get rehired. Brett is perfect because he's soft-spoken, proven, and he's not wanted by Green Bay. Flash back 3 years ago to TO in Philly? They put TO thorough hell after the man returned early from a broken leg to play in the Big Game. Brett retired. If this works, then as OJ Simpson would say, "Look out!" Green Bay needs to step up and make a trade with someone Brett doesn't want to play for. He will refuse the trade and stay retired. CBS and Fox will throw truckloads of money at him for his Mississippi Boy and NASCAR insights. Brett will be just fine if he never throws the ball again. He will be loved. Green Bay could be 6-10 this year without him.

Both ends at fault; its been reported on more then one occasion Thompson has been caught in a lie to Packer fans, and we question if Favre wasn't pushed out because he is now 38 and they wanted to move on. Favre on the other hand told Packers he wanted to come back two weeks into his retirement and when GB was ready to send someone after him he changed his mind again. I love Favre and always will but he needs to stop playing these back and forth games with Packers and the NFL.

The packer train is a total loss and still on fire, but these oddballs still cling to hope like a spandex outfit clings to Rosie. When they get no compensation from the Vikings, and Goodell slaps them with a penalty for the salary cap infraction, they will be more prepared for the smack down awaiting them Sept. 8th. Whoa, just saw this post, it smells of the same old hate Packer mania hype. Sorry about you loser Vikee. You get Favre and you MAY have a chance to win. TJ is just another in a long line of loser qb's for you knuckleheads. Do you think TJ is the answer? That's surely what Childress must have been thinking talking to Favre????? Duh. Vikes have the best players, the worst coach and fans that just can't hop off the wagon fast enough, God knows you've had enough experience. PS Get a field to play on. Wimps

Oh and by the way, there will be a smack down, but once AGAIN, it will by you suffering it. Feeling your oats there Pro? Season must be getting close.

The Thompson-Favre mess may be the funniest sports story of the year. A couple of over the top egos, combined with a few phone calls allegedly initiated by Favre, now this is real humor. For one second, do you really think the Vikings would chance a tampering penalty for an over the hill QB who is so dumb he would use a cell phone owned by the Packers to call the Vikings coach? He may have been a great QB, but he is an absolute brainless idiot using that cell phone. OPEN LETTER TO FAVRE: Get your own, Brett. 39 bucks a month from any carrier or better yet get a long distance calling card from Sam's or Costco 3 cents a minute for long distance calls, but dummy, DON'T USE YOUR FORMER EMPLOYERS CELL PHONE. What were you thinking?? Overnight it immediately to Thompson as soon as you get your own, but first clear all call history( incoming, dialed, missed, etc.) from the phone and transfer your contact list to your new phone and then clear your contacts from the Packer phone. Oh yeah. Accidentally of course have it fall into a tub of hot water with the phone on. That should fry the battery and the electronics in the phone. OPEN LETTER TO VIKINGS FANS: Wake up! Wake up! It's time to go to work. It was all a dream, Brett Favre donning a Vikings uniform. Just a dream. I hope you didn't wet your bed getting into this dream sequence. Isn't reality the pits? Regards, A common sense sports fan

So how would gb suspect foul play? I think it's just the collateral effects of the rotting corps permeating America’s dairy land.

Just do it! Go out and buy yourself the #69 Allen jersey you have been secretly admiring. It's OK to trash the packer organization, everyone is doing it. Favre has been the King of hope in sconny for better than a decade and a half. Now Thompson wants to be crowned king, but he is the dimwitted court jester. Long live the King

Hey if AP said, by the way I just want out, Vikequeens fans would freak on him. Favre will never be a Vike. After years of "He's no good" all of a sudden you would take him. Favre is trying to run the Packers and his goodwill cred is running out. The Pack will let him play elsewhere, but he has to be realistic and say it just has to work for him AND the Packers. Ted Thompson is being entirely realistic and reasonable. Now go ahead and go crazy over this and cry to those amateurss on KFAN.
