Well here we go again! Is there anything democratic left on the Democratic party besides its name? It would be interesting to find out who is going to replace Debra? Someone pre approved by Obama and the DNC? Another reason why I no longer consider myself a democrat!

Email tells delegates to applaud -- and stay out of politics at RNC convention
By Craig Westover
Friday, April 18, 2008

**** You should also be aware that, unlike your service as a State or local delegate, your influence on the process is considerably limited. The other primary states will, by convention time, have determined the Presidential nominee. The platform process is divided and the opportunity to participate in even a piece of it is limited. After the convention, the platform is generally ignored. For this reason, the role of National Delegate is generally seen as a "reward" for long and faithful service to the Party, rather than as a "representative" to a deliberative body or a "learning opportunity" for newcomers.*******

If you aceept and believe you can meet these qualifications, please answer all of the following questions, Yes or No:

1. Do you pledge to attend the National Convention, health permitting?

2. Do you have the financial means to do so?

3. Do you pledge to support the Republican Presidential nominee after the convention?

Her statement was inflammatory and irresponsible! When she became a delegate, she signed a contract stating she would vote for the Democratic nominee. She violated that pledge in anger.

Frankly, she seems to lack the judgement to represent her constituents!

I guess you can't consider yourself a repub either.

RULE NO. 11
Candidate Support
b) No state party rule or state law shall be observed that allows persons who have participated or are participating in the selection of any nominee of a party other than the Republican Party, including, but not limited to, through the use of a multi-party primary or similar type ballot, to participate in the selection of a nominee of the Republican Party for that general election. No person nominated in violation of this rule shall be recognized by the Republican National Committee as the nominee of the Republican Party from that state.

RULE NO. 15
Election of Delegates and Alternate Delegates
(2) Only persons eligible to vote who are deemed as a matter of public record to be Republicans pursuant to state law or, if voters are not enrolled by party, by Republican party rules of a state, shall participate in any primary election held for the purpose of electing delegates or alternate delegates to the national convention or in any Republican caucus, mass meeting, or mass convention held for the purpose of selecting delegates to the county, district, or state conventions, and only such legal and qualified voters shall be elected as delegates to county, district, and state conventions; provided, however, that in addition to the qualifications provided herein, the applicable Republican party rules of a state may prescribe additional qualifications not inconsistent with law, which additional qualifications shall be adopted before the first Tuesday in September in the year before the year in which the national convention is to be held and published in at least one (1) newspaper having a general circulation throughout the state, such publication to be at least ninety (90) days before such qualifications become effective.
(3) No state law shall be observed which permits any person to participate in a primary delegate and alternate delegate selection process that also permits that person at the same primary to participate in the choosing of nominees of any other party for other elective office. Delegates and alternate delegates to the national convention shall in that event be selected pursuant to state party rules that are not inconsistent with the Rules of the Republican Party; provided, however, that the selection process established by the state party rules shall provide that only persons eligible to vote who are deemed to be Republicans pursuant to state law or state party rules shall participate in such delegate selection process.

Interesting so those that opposed communism and slavery during the split of the Democratic-Republican Party were not supporting America. It is clearly time for a third party and if Ms. Clinton is smart she will form a third party and run for Governor of New York State and in 2012 run against Obama for the White House.

Ha ha. Ron Paul supporters: take note!

We know that ron cary and his cronies are trying to kick out ron paul supporters even though they won the votes at the caucuses. Its more important that ron cary pack the convention with his party hacks than respect the votes of those who attended the caucuses.

But whatever happens, remember you are the weak liberal RINO who is a handmaiden of ron cary and mccain, and we represent a principled approach to government--and we have the RINO hacks who run the mn republican party in our sights. Look at the bush and congressional polls and take pride in what your party has accomplished--and have a good laugh over it. ;)

It is unfortunate that Mrs. Clinton's most avid, never say die backers have carried things so far. In their efforts to force their will against the results of the primaries, (and yes I know they don't agree on the numbers, but all the rest of the world does, i.e. check numbers at Real Clear Politics, State Primaries, Democratic Party, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS--everyone else on the planet) they have made Mrs. Clinton look very bad indeed. Remember when Mrs. Clinton was consistently behind but insisted she still had a chance. During that time, she promised the entire Democratic Party that her long race from behind would not harm the party because the party would all come together. Well, everyone has except 17% of her supporters, a handful of which are making a lot of bad press for her and have probably absolutely sealed the impossibility of making her VP. The president can't appear to be cowed. There is no co-presidency. The Vice President does what the president tells he or she to do. It is Mrs. Clinton's name that you have drug through the mud and it is her picture that appears in every negative article. You people have done this to her. She deserved better from you. As she said, Shame on You.

Anyone that would not only abandon the principles of the candidate she so fervently backed, but, in fact, endorse another candidate with diametrically opposite positions on virtually every issue, should jolly well get the boot. And hard!

I cannot speak to where her mind was at as a supporter of Hillary's, but apparently actual issues weren't part of the equation, or she would NEVER have even thought to consider McCain.

B. It is understood that a State Democratic Party, in electing and certifying delegates and
alternates to the Democratic National Convention, thereby undertakes to assure all
Democratic voters in the state full, timely and equal opportunity to participate in the
delegate selection process and in all Party affairs and to implement affirmative action
programs toward that end, and that the delegates and alternates to the Convention shall be
selected in accordance with the Delegate Selection Rules for the 2008 Democratic
National Convention adopted by the Democratic National Committee on August 19, 2006.
Furthermore, voters in the state will have the opportunity to cast their election ballots for the
Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees selected by said Convention, and for electors pledged formally and in good conscience to the election of these Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees, under the label and designation of the Democratic Party of the United States, and that the delegates it certified will not publicly support or campaign for any candidate for President or Vice President other than the nominees of the Democratic National Convention.

You go girl!!! I wouldn't vote for that arrogant/cocky Obama either, we had a arrogant presidency for the last 7 years, Obama is the same. When I see Obama I want to puke. The media, Democrat Party Leaders, have all drunk the "Obama koolaid" and are intoxicated. I have been a Democrat all my life, I am voting for John McCain, besides his wife is prettier than Michelle. BLUE VOTER, VOTING RED.
