I can't wait to see this. I think that there will be a lot of blank looks, reminiscent of Stephen Colbert at the White House Correspondents dinner

I hope that Thune is on the show again to show the world what a buffoon he is. He can bring some of his hippie protester friends with him.

Why would the Daily Show be similar to Colbert at the correspondent's dinner? The blank looks were from people who take themselves too seriously and can't stand to be mocked for the absurdity of their occupations.

Can't wait! When will ticket info be released?

Where can I get tickets? I'm also looking forward to Stephen Colbert coming to St. Paul to broadcast. Stewart and Colbert always have a ball skewering the Republicans, and this car key party, er, convention, will give them LOTS to work with!

Too bad it's not a bigger venue - so many will want tickets. Will it be for the week or just one night?

First, this info was leaked early, no one's supposed to know yet. Tough break for the Daily Show that they won't be able to announce it properly on air. You can blame Howard Kessler for that. Makes us look just like the small town hacks we try to avoid looking like.

Second. The venue is 600 seats. That's larger than where they show in NY.

Third, it'll be here for the week.

Fourth, Tickets will be VERY hard to get a hold of. Wait for information on them. It'll most likely be a lottery system.

How does something getting leaked to the media make us look like "the small town hacks we try to avoid looking like"? That doesn't happen in the big city?

And what do you have against small towns Mr. Obama?

Actually, both Stewart and Colbert announced it months ago on their respective shows. This event is sure to drive the rapacious Republicans nuts. It'll be good to see some intelligent political discourse from Stewart and Colbert, instead of the mind-numbing drivel that's sure to occur at the convention.

Without question the most unfunny man on TV. If it wasn't for his writers, he would be stocking rice down at the local Sam Club.

The really funny thing about this show....most people never heard of it. The only reason whatever his name is wins Emmeys is due to all the Bush bashing. Guess which party affiliation the Emmy voters belong to?

Your age is showing. This show is wildly popular, just not with the senior crowd.
