Norm Coleman won re-election to the senate the day the DFL nominated Angry Al Franken. Al's a comedian and his campaign is a joke.

Normie is going to be getting his walking papers in November.... regardless of his opposition. He's been nothing but another GOP toady and it's time to go far, far away.

I am surprised he remembered to file in the correct state. If he missed the deadline he could always blame it on his accountant.

Al Franken is neither a viable or a worthy candidate. At the time a worthy candidate is most needed the dfl comes up with a carpetbagger. Frank's ads that are to educate the public on his ability to lead are mind boggling. His third grade teacher likes him!? Comedy? He boasts he wrote 6 books. Again, you've got to be kidding me. Who is he talking down to? Many, many people have written six books, heck my neighbor has written 7. Does he not think Minnesotans have the intelligence to ask in what vein did you write, have you been published in any noteworthy political mags/reviews? I am begging for a different dfl choice. Having Franken in the race gives Jesse an open door. I think Jesse has written a book too. Drop out Frankie, your 5th grade teacher didn't like you and neither did the high school girrls.

Coleman used to be a Democrat until it became beneficial for him to become a Republican. So why is it your belief that Franken, a satirist, has a campaign unworthy of serious discussion?

Hmmmm. You're criticizing a candidate because he wrote 6 books (did you read any of them?) and hasn't been published in what you deem to be a satisfactory political entity? Get over yourself. I'm not a fan of Franken's but he'd make a better politician than you. Run for office if you're so brilliant.
