I sure hope this little man either heals with the device or received his own heart soon.

It always saddens me to see little ones going through these kind of situations.

God bless his family for being at his side.

My thoughts & prayers to little Stevon and his family!

Nothing more heart wrenching than a child facing a horrific health crisis. Stevon, lots of people are thinking good thoughts for you, and you can watch "Finding Nemo" as much as you want!!

As a parent, I can't imagine what this would be like. All the best to the Stibbins family - you're in the hands of some of the best caregivers in the world. I can only pray for Stevon's full recovery.

This story actually made my eyes fill with tears. It's been a long time since the PP wrote a story that did that. I hope this little boy finds his ideal heart soon

Does the little boy have a daddy? If not, then his choice of "Finding Nemo" as a favorite movie, a story where a father fish tries desperately to find his son, is even more poignant.

Why is this newsworthy? There are adults and children on the organ donor waiting list. Yes, where is the child's father??

Serina L, I can't believe your response to the story about this little boy. The story was really about the Berlin Heart and they used this little boy to show it in a personal way. I don't understand the people that post on the PP boards. Why are so many people here so cruel and critical. It must be wonderful to be so perfect and have all the answers. I hope this child the very best and hope he somehow get's to live his life to its full potential.

Why does it matter where his father is? That is not the point of this story. I am sorry you are so hardened that you ask such questions in regard to this little boy. He is an amazing survivor. I pray that this never happens to any of your children. Except, by your comment I can guess you probably do not have any.

I hope this little boy's own heart recovers strength to give him a normal life.

And I hope the Berlin Heart is proven safe enough to provide another option for people whose own hearts are failing.

My thoughts and prayers are with Stevon & his family. As a mother I can't even imagine what it's like to go through this. My heart goes out to you and anyone else that has to deal with this kind of situation.

How is this not newsworthy?? Did you even read the article? Most of it is about the new machine that Children's Hospital is now trained in using that this little boy has connected to him. Pay attention. And what does the child's father have to do with anything at all? You are a moron. I sure hope this little boys family doesn't have to be "enlightened" with your ignorance by reading this comment.
