Two killed, one injured in wrong-way crash on I-494 are identified

I understand that one of the young girls was a young mother and I respect that and her family I to myself was a young mother so tell me why this young mother was out driving at 2am instead of being with her sleeping son? I have gone out yes and I know that area as well and I am not saying anything against those girls cause I dont know what they were thinking. I have had a car drive the wrong way on a road towards me and my two kids I stoped because I couldnt pull over there was no shoulder the other car realized what they were doing stoped and turned around it was 2am dont you think they would have seen head lights headed toward them. I am sorry for all who lost their loved ones especially for that two year old little boy. If you look at their myspace pages it shows all pictures of them partying and getting wasted if and one of the pics shows one of the girls hanging over a guys shoulder with the comment and "I was sober driver that night" real nice if you ask me.....

I agree I don't know how many times I have been on the freeway on ramp with cars behind my when the elderly man driving ahead of me just stops at the bottom of the on ramp! Or how many times I have see middle aged people almost cause an accident because they are on their cell phones. Yes young drives are unexperiance drivers and that is why they have restrictions in place with the provisional liscense program. But as far as cell phones go, I feel it doesn't matter how young or old you are, talking on a cell phone and driving is dangerous!

umm yeah the guy that was involved was younger than them driving so does that effect anything at all? and im sure Roundys can pay for their own semi. Not every young person driving is doing it illegal. I see older people driving more reckless than I see young. its sad how people stereotype people.

Charitie didnt drive that night, she got someone else, so lets not think that we know facts from "myspace"

I had to pass by this horrible sceen this morning, I was visiting family and thought I would wait until after the bar rush before I leave, so we waited. I could have been the one these girls hit, I could have died, my husband could have died, if we would have left when I really wanted to leave, there would have been a very good chance it would have been us, but something made me wait.
DONT DRINK AND DRIVE and if ALCOHOL WAS NOT A FACTOR, THEN WHAT WERE THEY ON, IF YOU WERE SOBER YOU WOULD KNOW YOU WERE GOING THE WRONG WAY

I almost make the mistake of the getting on the wrong ramp during the clear blue day completly sober and I see lots of other people almost make the mistake. Im sure we are all drunk at 10 am right? and please tell me what you would do in this situation, if you accidently got on the off ramp instead of on ((which is RIGHT next to eachother)) How would you get off?? There is no exit in front of you and you dont know what to do. Maybe you should stop judging people. what if something happened to you? what if something worse happened to someone else? all these what ifs and it didnt happen so get over it and realize that everyone that knew these girls are hurting very badly right now and we are sick of seeing lame people like you trashing their names on the internet. I hope you never have to feel that pain of losing someone and if you do I hope someone makes a website to talk trash about them on. you sad sad people I pray for you

I can only pray that this public display of ignorance disappears from the internet before that poor, Mother-less little Tony is able to read all of the horrible & cruel things you are stating. No one knows what happened that early Saturday morning, but Charitie & Sara. Keep your assumptions & pessimistic attitudes to yourself. Let them rest in peace. You wouldn't want someone trash talking one of your friends or loved ones while you are mourning their death. And these poor ladies can't even defend themselves. They were under age and if alchol was served to them, it was not their fault. And my opinion is the the state should not allow 18# bars. Because there are alot of adults that will buy it for them "under the table" And. No one knows what actually happened. So, Don't JUDGE

It disappoints me that you just a passerby! you didn't bother to stop. But someone else did and made the effert to get in contact with my family to let me know he was there to hold her hand. And made it to her wake, because I believe GOD sent him to her to hold her hand in her last moments. But, you just drove by.

i'm very sorry for your loss. sarah was a beautiful girl who was loved by many people. i hope that little tony will help ease the pain of losing her. please remember as you read the hateful things that people are saying - that no matter what the circumstances surrounding her death nobody can ever change the wonderful person that she was, and that even in death that she continued to give.

Where in my post did I JUDGE these girls, one of the first things I say is my thoughts and prayers are with the families.
I said "IF".

And they were drinking at Valentino's, and it is not anybody elses fault if they were served drinks, they know they are under age and shouldnt be drinking, and espically driving.
And if someone older was buying their drinks for them,well then shame on them also.

and if you read my post, I was stating how I passed by the accident shortly after this happened and how it could have ben my family they hit, it is a scary thought. I was stating an opinion, and I never spoke bad about these young girls.
It is a very sad accident that happened.

For your information, by time I was passing by... the roads had been blocked of and cars had to get of on Hardman, the girls were already transported to the hospitals, cause where we got off the freeway, we passed right by the car, and you could tell that no one was in the car anymore, there was 1 ambulance on site I am sure to look over the other 2 drivers of thr Semi and the Van.
If I would have been Passing by, prior to any law enforcement, EMT's, or firemen, I would have stopped, I would have called 911.
My father is a retired Saint Paul Firemen, I was rasied with vaules to help someone if they need help no matter what that might be.

So for your information, if there was something I could have done, I would have,but police, EMT's, and who ever else were already onsite.

Ok LOOK HERE.. I NEVER said one bad thing about these girls. I said if they were drinking... OH AND BY THE WAY THEY WERE.
And I passed the accident site about 25 minutes after it happened, so a little scary for other drivers also.. you so can shove your commet about my where the sun dont shine.

I was not being disrespectful about these young girls. It is a very tragic thing that happened.

And you know what I have loss MANY Loved ones, from car wrecks, to drinking and ended up drowning in a river, to natural causes, and to murder.

People are always going to have an opinion, and I am sorry TO YOU MELISSA that I said "IF" these girls were drinking or something else.

BUT I NEVER JUDGED THEM OR SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THEM IS A MEAN WAY, I said it was a sad accident.
