Please don't post mean messages because my brothe is the father of sara stoman's son and he is greiving and reading mean messages about if she was drinking or not would make it badder for him he already has to take on father hood fulltime so please wait until the bodies are viewed and then make your comments.
Thank you family and friend of sara stoman.

Here's the deal. It's unfortunate what happened..a lot of you said "two families are suffering". The females in the vehicle who died were both drinking. That's a fact. Think about the poor truck driver, who did nothing wrong, who had to be a part of this. Think about what he is going through. It was an accident, it was also preventable. Give me a break.

The State Patrol reports no alcohol was involved.

Timika. Are you the "Tim" that is on the roadside memorial at the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp?

Correction. The STrib reference that "neither had alcohol in their system" referenced the two injured drivers. Apologies.

Who is Sara Stoman? And isn't her name spelled Stowman?

I cant believe how cruel people are, especially when it comes to something this sensitive and tragic. Two young lives are tragically ended, regardless how and why it happened it did. As of now there can only be speculation as to if the two victims were "drunk". In the event they were "drunk", they payed the ultimate price...their gone. It's a blessing that no one else died, but no matter how you look at it, its a tragedy that anyone died. Everyone has made mistakes, some larger and worse than others, but when we step back and look at this picture it could easily of been someone we know, even "yourself". Everyone is one decision away from a making a big mistake.
My thoughts and prayers are with their friends and families. It is truly a tragedy.

While entering 494W, from Hardman, I saw the semi, van, and car. As soon as I saw the car, I could tell it was a fatal. Since at least one of the girls was from the east Metro, I can only guess that they were intoxicated, not simply confused as to where they were. Tragic. hold on dont jump to conclusions or spread any self fabricated theories. you have no clue who they were and even if you did you still should not intentionally or not tarnish their memory.

I thought that the person who said that one of the girls was form the east side made a good point. Wouldn't she have driven this road before. It is speculation that they were drinking. I don't think that is insulting their memory it is just a guess. You don't hear about these kinds of accidents happening because of simple confusion.

Keep in mind the Wakota Bridge project has been going on for 5 or 6 years now and ramps have opened and closed over the last year. The off-ramp from 494 to Hardman Ave just reopened a few weeks ago. The ON-ramp has been closed for some time. It's not clear yet, at least to me, where they got on 494. But Hardman seems like a possibility. But that project has made a mess of things, it's nothing but temporary detours all over the place.

Actually with the roads closing and opening time after time. plus the fact that Sara was a medical assistant. She could have been tired and confused. Is it a possibility that they were drinking? Yes, there is always a possibility. As for these accidents "not happening over simple confusion"? Completely false. You didn't know these girls. One of them was my friend. And I dont feel that anyone has a right to place judgement or accusations on this situation til medical reports are let loose. Have some class. Everyone has a right to their own opinion about it, but don't try to make it seem as if these girls are completely in the wrong. They were sweet caring girls with nearly no enemies in life. Show them some respect. Thanks.

Scene everyone break

I had just arrived, when I had noticed everyone in front of me slamming on their breaks. I was not far enough to see the accident happening, just the bright lights. What is really sad, this isn't the only accident that has happened there and not the only one with fatalaties. I was actually on my way home a couple of months ago and a semi had rolled over there backing up traffic. This corner is so bad and you really can't see too far in advance. The speedlimit when passing this area should be much slower. Something should really be done to fix this, but because the 35W project put this on hold, it is going to take much longer to fix. I feel for those families too. I just wished the goverment could budget better. People should not have to loose their loved ones for reasons like this.
My deepest sympathies goes out to the families of these young girls.

I am sure you spend as much time as you can trying to feel better about yourself on the internet, by making dumb **** comments about people you don't even know. The sad thing is, is that 2 young women died. Whether or not alchol was involved, people make mistakes. Unfortunately, this mistake took their lives. God bless the families.

Heartbreaking... no matter what the circumstances. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Those of you that have nothing respectful to say at this time should probably find something else to "Gossip" about and get a life. Everyone makes mistakes, and only God can Judge!
