Almost 500 entries in this year's Pioneer Press Peeps Diorama Contest are viewable online. It's the first time you've been able to see the hundreds of entries.

Find them here: http://extras1.twincities.com/car/peeps/Defau...

What do you think of this year's crop? Have a favorite?

Friday afternoon, you'll be able to search for winners. And in Sunday's Pioneer Press, we'll meet some of the winners and get insights into their creations.

Enjoy!

I truly love the Peeps Diorama Contest! However, seems like there's less irreverence for venerable events and institutions this year. I applaud the irreverent Peeps entries. Let's see some more mockery being made, PEEPle!

we are bummed that the peeparazzi of Peepwood didn't make the cut, it was fun to watch our co-workers enthusiasm! Maybe they could make the paper just to show other creative entries!!!! Good Luck next year, girls!

love all of the entries...but I think the category of "diarama" is not being taken seriously...unless that kid in the Gulliver's Travels third place entry is in a REALLY big box!

Great job, everyone!

Propositioning sex in the men's room? Really???
Is this how Just Born wants their product represented.

How do I explain to my son that his entry depicting Minnesota ice fishing lost out to this.

Lovin' the Re-peep-lican Convention - especially the secret service peeps keeping away the protesters. Too bad it didn't make the cut - particularly over the Peeps Luau, which wasn't that great.

All in good fun. I love this contest. One is only limited by imagination. We get together with family and friends to build dioramas. We have our own competition, judge and prizes. For me, everyone that enters is a winner.

perhaps they should have a kid's contest separate from the adult version. That would seem fair to me...it should be about having fun and not trying to explain why one won over another...especially to a child.

I did like the "most peepular restroom" diorama, though...but I wouldn't be able to explain it to a kid...no way!~

I have to applaud the creativity in all these but I was sad to see my hair stylist didn't even get an honorable mention for her peeps salon. It was darling and lots of time and effort was put into it.

We did a peeps diorama that didn't even make it to consideration because we mailed (dropped off) our photo entry. It was a winner. An ode to the Little Sisters of the Poor- 11 peeps dressed in full nun habits celebrating their 125 years of contributions to St. Paul carrying for the elderly poor. On Friday our go to irritable guy Mr. Chin told us us by phone that the 80+ mailed- in enteries are not considered, or would it seem, worthy enough to be posted with the rest of the entries that were received via e-mail. So why state that all entries are available in the the contest info? Maybe a little clarification next year would be the fair thing for all contestants to be made aware of. It just break our little peep-picking hearts that no one will get to see our cleaver entry much less vote for it.

My hair dresser is the creator of the peeps salon and I just want to give her kudos for the great job! I wish it would have placed she deserved to be in the top three!

MN airport restroom?? That's how you want MN, Just born, and Pioneer Press looked at? Sad sad day for MN! I can't believe the time spent on some of these works of art and those are the winners you chose?? Isn't the Pioneer Press a St. Paul newspaper?? Why would a person from Wis. win second??

you should post your pic in digital form on a photo sharing site and let us know where to see it! You'd think the Pioneer Press would have a scanner somewhere in their possession and be able to put ALL of the entries online for everyone to see!

beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yes? Not every entry is going to be for everybody...but don't try to censor someone else's artistic vision...please.

I completly agree. How could someone take such sweet & cute little Peeps and make it into something so violent? In my opinion, anything violent should be disqualified. Remember, kids look at this.
