Obamba supporters... Get over yourselves
you have to stop playing the "poor me" card, especially when you give more than you get!
the media is on your side out of fear of being racist.
The fact is Obamba lacks the ability to run this country.
Yes, he is popular to the suckers out there that are brain-washed with his charm.
Be prepared, if he becomes president, for a big let down!
oh and by the way,
O-bomb-a sucks

good points,
most Obama detractors make one of the following arguments
1. he is a terrorist (his middle name is hussein!!!)
2. he refused to pledge allegiance!!!
3. he is colored!!!
4. he has no experience!!!
People keep posting these stupid comments about Obama, and it is getting old to read about him not pledging, him having secret ties to islam etc etc
either love him or hate him, but if you want to hate him, at least provide a half decent reason
ok, he has no executive experience

John Edward's Health Plan: Get the test or shot they tell you to get or your mandatory premiums go up:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/...

His website says in effect you'll pay lower premiums as an incentive to do as you're told. Oh, but this will only affect poor people who can't afford private insurance, so if you're loaded don't worry. Expect the same from Hillary. Edwards just deciphered it that sunny day in Iowa.

Change. That's all I ever hear, but the only thing that's different from Clinton is his gender, age, race, likeability, and communication skills. Other than that what unique "changes" does Obama bring to the table?
Now now Mr. Cheney who let you out of your room? Let's get back in before you catch cold...and take that orange jacket off! You're not going hunting!!

Any person who still has support for the republican party is just plain ignorant. It is as though all of those supporters have a memory loss problem... All of the outrageous scandal, corruption and blatant lying done by the republican party over the past 8 years... the ignorance to science and logic and reason...the attempts to turn this government into a christian theocracy...and this was the administration that was going to "restore" values and morals...all the while practicing what they are supposedly "against"... This is undoubtedly THE MOST incompetent and corrupt administration EVER in the history of US politics. Look back over the past 8 years and tell me that you don't see anything wrong with the level of #$%^-ups and lying and cheating and just plain stupidity that this administration has put forth on the American people. We deserve better. We don't deserve to be abused by our own government... but it has gone on for 8 years in levels never seen before.
If you still support the republican party, well then I guess there is just no accounting for logic with you. You can bad-mouth the democrat candidates. You can even spew your racist diatribe. If you think that this nation will ask for more of the same treatment we've gotten in the past 8 years, well you are just plain hallucinating. It reminds me of the women who are abused and battered by their partner and just stay with the relationship because she took a wedding vow... Never thinking about the harm she is doing her kids by staying.. That is exactly what the republican party supporters reminds me of, but on a much larger and grander scale.
Go on, keep up the racism. Keep up the lies, and mis-spelling of names. It only makes you look like the sheep you are.

the clinton, based on the amounts of scandals and resignations, was the most corrupt administration ever. Look it up between goosestepping to the Democrat/Socialist tune.

You really don't understand politics or economics do you? You sound like some crazed abused women that could not flourish on your own under the Republican regime, so now you have to cry for the oppression, security, and loss of freedom that your abusive lover (Democratic Party) can give you.

The gravy train is over. As for a Christain theocracy, how would that even be possible, with the crazed mob like you crying for your abortions, adultery, and sex toys. At least, the welfare policies of the democrats will keep you neutered and harmless.

Gee, I wonder what side of the fence this guy falls on?

"...crying for your abortions, adultery, and sex toys..." Right, there's a mob in the street right now pealing for mandatory abortions, sex toys in every shopping mall and legislation to support adultery as mainstream adult recreation. You're funny.

Just having some fun as we roll on to the apocalypse. You are dense, the point I was trying to make was a veiled reference to Brave New World. Give people their pleasures, and sedate their minds with their vices, and the masses will cease to think. You can take away their economic freedoms by confiscating their property through taxes and overregulation, and the masses won't even know becasue their minds will be distracted by issues such as abortion, pornography, gay marriage, etc. And to ensure that their minds remian fixated on these matters, the ruling elite will create two decisive factions, two theses in full antagonism, until a synthesis is achieved (Hegelian, isn't it), and then it's on to the next distracting order of the day.

The socialists stultify the spirit and squelch initiative, but opposition is easy to placate, when you give them their pleasures. Hillary and Obama issue forth the same promises, although Obama is much more palatable. Hillary's approach of assuming the masses are mindless minions incapable of independent thought works to a certain extent, becasue people will cede their freedoms if the cause sounds good, irrespective of the actual practice. However. Hillary's problem is she plays too much of her songs right from the propaganda playbook, including the pre-propoganda trial balloon, honing her appeal to the asthetic and the myth (ala Nietsche), but her approach is too obvious.

This approach will work for the horse-thief democrats, but will win over very little crossover votes. Obama is much more formidable, and hillary's desperation is showing. Anyway, the Democrats take away freedoms through regulations and taxes, but deflect attention by pitting the various groups against each other, while slowly turning up the heat and boiling the masses to death. But as Dostoevsky implied, can the people really handle their freedoms?

Maybe I'm dense, or maybe you're just doing a very poor job of pulling off your "veiled reference". Your earlier post made a not-quite-veiled reference to the notion that Democrats are corrupt and that anyone who doesn't side with the Republicans just "hasn't been able to make it" under the wonderful "regime" (your word, appropriately put) we have enjoyed in the last seven years.

"And my," you say (I'm paraphrasing here)... "how EVER could a Christian theocracy get off the ground with this silly mob crying for their dildos and swingers parties?"

Last time I checked, it's been one neocon figure after another, falling to the baser desires of the flesh in very disgusting and decidedly "untheocratic" manners. OK, so Clinton got a good ol' fashioned heterosexual BJ from a female intern? Fine. But what about Senator Craig, the toe-tapping wide-stancer looking for love in a men's restroom? Or Ted Haggerty, warrior for the religious right and bane of all homosexuals, until he himself is caught in a homosexual sex and drug ring (the latter of course, being "fixed" as we speak--both seem to have forgotten their heterosexual marriages and fatherly duties in their dalliances to the wild side). Or W, the Texas coke hound and frequent whiskey-sniffer/drunk driver whose Daddy told him to go find Jesus when it became apparent that he might have to answer to public critique befitting a candidate for the Presidency?

As far as the "corruptibility" of our politicians goes, you can lay blame at the feet of the Democrats for some things, but recent history shows that the balance of vile, dishonest, and hypocritical behavior is heavily weighted to the right.

...as for the rest, I find "Orwellian" more descriptive than "Hegelian", IMO.

Obama is promising us things that he doesn’t Have or and can’t Control.
He sounds so ridiculous that I’m thinking. Is this an Election or a COMEDY or CACOPHONY?
Maybe he thinks that Americans are Illiterate, Ignorant or Mentally Insane.

Wow, that was random. Like a blind archer firing arrows into the darkenss.

If you're going to resurrect a thread more than two weeks after it died, please provide some substantive observations that actually add something to the conversation. "He sounds ridiculous" is a personal observation, not a relevant critique of his candidacy.

I'll tell you what sounds ridiculous: McCain singing the words "Bomb Bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann", or Hillary Clinton's presumptuous statements regarding an invitation to the V.P. seat for Obama when she's still trailing by over 100 delegates.
