When is enough - enough? There is already a population problem in the world. Why do we as humans have to wait until the crisis is upon us before we see it coming? India, China, Korea and parts of Africa all have major problems with over population.
Why not change the tax code and pay more if you want more kids. The rest of us subsidize through taxes, welfare & public services those who reproduce excessively.
China has had to take extreme measures so can we learn anything before its too late?
We have illegal immigration which seems to be beyond either political party’s interest to control which just adds to the population explosion. One wants cheap labor and the other one see’s votes so every ten years we take in another group. We have limited supply resources to exist upon yet no one wants to control the increasing population demand.

There "are" enough people in the world already.

One family "doesn't" need to try to populate the world.

At least you can "spay" (a female dog or cat) or "neuter" (a male dog or cat).

Did you come from a large family? Is that why spelling and grammar elude you? I think the Duggar kids probably all outspell you.

The sad thing is that their older kids are being taught in the same classroom as the younger kids, and are responsible for their younger siblings laundry, etc. Kids should be able to be kids, not grow up raising their younger siblings that their parents CHOSE to have themselves.

It is easy for her to have 18 children, she does not take care of them. Have you ever watched the shows on them? The older kids take care of the younger kids. Do you ever see the mom tend to one of the kids?

I can support having a large family, but when you have kids that are just taking care of their younger brothers and sisters......that is wrong. Parents should take care of the kids.

Pollution

Having 18 children is completely irresposible! In the current state of our world, breeders of large families, pro-lifers and the Christian right need to intelligently consider the future of the planet and all of it's life forms. Has this family given any serious thought to what the world might be like in 20 or 30 years? I guess it doesn't matter to them -- they'll just turn the other cheek, pray and go to a "better place".

In case you pro-breeders and pro-lifers are reading -- I don't have children and will not have children -- the planet is over-populated and I fear horrible things will happen in the next 20-30 years.

18 children are not a blessing or God's will.

#18 should be named "Justa-Stop" Duggar. But that's only my opinion.

More power to them. I've seen their TV specials. There's a lot of love in that home. These kids are probably more "together" than half the American population. They'll be responsible, mature members of society instead of drunk alcoholic college kids who get 5 different women pregnant. They're good parents. I'd rather see them have 100 kids than one bad parent have one.

She has one daughter making the family lunch and the another making the family dinner. She has another child doing her laundry and another that does the bathrooms.
I agree that kids need chores, but what does the mom do? She even has the older ones taking care of the younger ones.
