Wow, you constantly confuse me. I think you should go back to drinking. You are neither "aging" or "hip". Yeah, the Chicago 7 were arrested for violating the newly enacted law called the "Anti-Riot Act of 1968". Enacted because the government feared the people would assemble at the Democractic Convention. Prior to that Chicago and several other cities and towns just plain out beat people for speaking up. Then they made a law so they could arrest them instead. Stop posing as hip or old. You don't even remember Sal's, are you even 40 yet? I can bet you will be a very old man before you hit 50. Commies? The brave souls of the 60's brought you more freedoms.
The whole riot was orchestrated by the SDS, the Weather Underground along with other Communist underground Revolutionaries! bernadine Dohrn and her husband Ayers who should be in jail for treason admitted this. At least Mark Rudd has remorse for his past actions.

I am currently registered as an Independent, but will be changing my affiliation to Democrat in time to be able to vote in the Pennsylvania primary. My vote will be for Obama, because anybody endorsed by the governor of this state will definition NOT get my vote. After all, birds of a feather ...

Very good points for not voting for someone. How ridiculous are you??!!
Obama never even showed UP for the vote. He chickened out.
By the way, same old story told again and again. People voted FOR the war based on "facts" that the republicans handed out. EVERYONE was mislead by those "facts". Stop the re-hash, intelligent people know why anyone who voted FOR the war were #1 - REALLY for it OR #2 - BELIEVED the lies told in Congress.
You are a moron. If thats what you believe then you need to think for yourself. U need to get your facts straight before you go making statements about his record. Its called being educated and you have shown where you stand, idiot.

Why don't I hear anything about Hilary's experience in crooked land deals, putting a hit out on Vince Foster, a completely amateur bungling of health care plans, or posing as an independent woman who stays married to her philandering husband who was caught doing something which would get any CEO canned in any private enterprise in the country, all for protecting her own political aspirations? I have no problem voting for a woman, but to paraphrase her soon to be ex-husband, " I did not vote for THAT woman!"

Obama will attempt to change the direction of this country! Hill-billy gets you more screw jobs. as for $ I'd rather see it staying in the USA and helping people here than a useless oil war. What ever happend to the 8 billion that was LOST? What an impact that could have had on the people in this country devistated by floods, fires and tornados. Don't you think its about time we take care of US! VOTE for someone who has the guts to try to change this corrupt government. Republicans have sold the country to china! Wake up! OBAMA all the way.

This headline really pizzes me off. I am a retired Senior citizen, and Hillybilly doesn't impress me at all, and I'll bet there are plenty more of us, who feel the same. I am for OBAMA all the way!!!! And when is the opposition going to give up that silly argument about a middle name. People don't choose their middle name, it is given at birth, soooooo how stupid is it to judge someone based on a name.

Not sure about more smarts but definitly more racist. Why don't you talk about the guys campaign instead of his race and his middle name? Then you might actually appear to be a somewhat intelligent person. Besides, if we want to talk about names the Clinton name is pretty infamous in its own right. You know what they say about people in glass houses.

Older people have gained WISDOM through life experiences. Why is auto insurance extremely high for teens and young people...they make bad decisions. Older people are more cautious and do not react to B.S. Obama does not have the experience yet to lead this nation..he is about a lot of I WILL DO THIS AND I WILL DO THAT..He can only accomplish what he will be able to cleverly negotiate through political clout and connections..something he does not have yet. He is not being elected to KING. What he says he is going to do..and what he will realisticly be able to accomplish is two seperate distinct items. Democracy does not run by decree...it operates always with difficulty by consensus. If you people think he is going to march into the Whitehouse and start giving orders and getting his way..you will be in for a surprise. The more arrogant he is towards making big changes the less people are going to work with him. He has promissed way more than he can deliver..and the people that are beating a drum for his presidency are going to be extremely disappointed when reality sets in. I just hope that those same people will have the mentality to keep their collective frustrations under control when they don't get what they think they will. History tells us that they won't. We could dam well see Racial tensions explode as a result of Obama not being able to deliver the goods! Some cultures become violent when they don't get what they are promissed. Obama is setting himself up for failure down the road.
You definitly made some good points, but what exactly has Bill's wife accomplished. It seems to me she wasn't too successful with national healthcare when her hubby was in office. She has not been a senator for that long and I can't think of one significant political accomplishment that she spearheaded.

Uh, you need to educate yourself. Obama never voted for or against the war because he hadn't been elected to the Senate until 2004.

Fast asleep in la la land. Obama is a BS artist and little else. Hillary is being judged by her husband and little else. Obama will keep little money in the US, look at his church affiliation and voting record - open your eyes. Discrimination will not help anyone. I'm not saying that Hillary is great mind you. McCain on the other hand is a geriatric Britney Spears from what I can see.

Bill Clinton was convicted of Perjury in the Paula Jones Case.

While not convicted, Hillary should have been indicted for Perjury and Obstruction of Justice in the Madison Savings & Loan scandal.

Both sides have skeletons. No one is squeaky clean. The Clinton's, The Bush's, and others. We do not have much of a choice. Barry Goldwater was the Savior of the Republican Party! He's rolling in his grave.

Last I heard, Hilary is the Senator for NY....isn't there just as much crime there? What planet do you live on? And what experience does Obama have????? I can't hear you...that's right, nothing.
I keep hearing about Hillary's experience, but what are her real accomplishments? The whole national healthcare thing that she spearheaded was a disaster. Let me know when you get a chance.

It's "experienced" leaders that will cause future generations to inherit untold amounts of debt. The "experienced" politicians have mortgaged our future and handed the lien to China.

Thanks, but I'll take my chances on some new blood.

It is hard to be threatened by someone that is unelectable. For every supporter in the party there seems to be a detractor or two in some cases.
