... and this is why Pennsylvania is in the pits. It's going to take a generational shift to rid this state the majority of undereducated seniors who make stupid statements like "give the lady a chance". That is no lady!

Pennsylvania is one of the more backward and slowly evolving states in the union. The older generation is now more than ever out of touch with the future needs of the entire scope of youth in the nation. The technological booms of the 90's & 00's have allowed the youth to do political research and understand the major political players on levels far beyond the traditional methods that most of the older voting public use. Personally, the fact that this state still supports Rendell after his comments about his state not being able to support Obama because he is black. The fact that people are even looking @ this entire race via the terms of sex or race show how foolish many people actually are.

Just like those who buy Buicks and big Mercuries (and Oldsmobiles before that), those who will shortly be passing off of the societal scene vote for Clinton, mostly old white wimmin. No real credible reason..they just most resemble her.

I think I'll do something different this time around as well. I think that I am going to vote for whomever is going to promise me the most free stuff with all of yours and my tax monies. Why not? Most of you vote with this thought in mind anyway...

I also enjoy being told, when it is politically expedient, how, on one hand what I make annually puts me squarely in the middle class but when it comes time to tax me, all of a sudden I'm rich.

I wouldn't vote fot this liar if she were running against stalin or hitler. She has no moral compass except"ME". If obama is in, I will probably vote for him because mccain is not my choice.

Yep, with the second largest senior population in the US, atrophied, wedded to the past, thinking began in PA years ago. Add in our PATRONAGE tendencies and you have a state going backwards and downhill. No wonder our youth leave in droves. They have to put up with the voting preferences of those who still equate the Dem party with the goodies FDR gave to them...

To listen to my relatives, who vehemently defend the DEM party, is like listening to a debate from the 1940's. Tired old rhetoric that disappeared from the Dem party long ago. No thinking required..find the big "D", yank the lever, punch the chad, or gasp! push the touch screen button...

Older people have gained WISDOM through life experiences. Why is auto insurance extremely high for teens and young people...they make bad decisions. Older people are more cautious and do not react to B.S. Obama does not have the experience yet to lead this nation..he is about a lot of I WILL DO THIS AND I WILL DO THAT..He can only accomplish what he will be able to cleverly negotiate through political clout and connections..something he does not have yet. He is not being elected to KING. What he says he is going to do..and what he will realisticly be able to accomplish is two seperate distinct items. Democracy does not run by decree...it operates always with difficulty by consensus. If you people think he is going to march into the Whitehouse and start giving orders and getting his way..you will be in for a surprise. The more arrogant he is towards making big changes the less people are going to work with him. He has promissed way more than he can deliver..and the people that are beating a drum for his presidency are going to be extremely disappointed when reality sets in. I just hope that those same people will have the mentality to keep their collective frustrations under control when they don't get what they think they will. History tells us that they won't. We could dam well see Racial tensions explode as a result of Obama not being able to deliver the goods! Some cultures become violent when they don't get what they are promissed. Obama is setting himself up for failure down the road.

Mr. Clinton is a fine candidate and should be... wait... I think I got that wrong... Ooooooooooooooohhhhh.... It's his "wife" who's running... So let me get this straight, we're considering Mrs. Clinton for office. A first relative to a former president. Just like W. was to his father? You'd think we have learned our lesson with that idiot! Don't you think having a dynasty is a bad idea? Oh, wait, this is the same state that let Palmerton get to the point where there were no trees left on the hills and thought it had nothing to do with the zinc company dumping waste in the air and water... Oh well... GO BILL... er.... Hillary.... Billary? Ummmm, on second thought, who's running for the Green party?

Yep, Obama, a guy that will give me the most stuff with tax money. His promise list was 45 minutes long out of Houston the other night... He does say it will be hard though (sniff, sniff)...Think it's hard now, wait until we (our children) have to pay back his big giveaway party. "W" (not a real fiscal conservative) already put us on this path and Obama will finish it off.

Good point - the kids will already be busted after paying off W's deficit.

Silly, silly...Obama OR Hillary would be far better for this country than anything the poor, downtrodden Repugs have to offer. They've wrecked it for sure, and it's going to take Democratic majorities in the House and Senate plus a Dem prez to clean up after the children of rich white folk that've wrecked the joint for the past eight years.

Either Hillary or Obama would make a fine Janitor-in-Charge, and don't let no Repug ReaKKK-shunary Rhetoric convince you otherwise.

You should be wise enough by now to know that the kind of changes you are looking for won't realisticly happen until your pushing up daisies..IF THEY HAPPEN AT ALL! Uthanasia is more likely down thwe road instead of Social hand out programs. Our Democracy doen't work with a MAJIC WAND..It is slow and cumbersum. Did we forget about the Mess Junior is leaving behind in the midst of all of this rediculous Obama UPHOREA. WHOM EVER becomes President will have their work cut out for them just to bring this nation back in orbit with the other nations of the world, and to fix a broken economy..A daunting task in itself...much less promissing to solve everyones wants and needs. Reminds me of the news reels in the early 1930's when Hitler rose to power..fanaticism over words of promiss..If we were to make radical changes every other election...we would be a Bananna Republic. Democracy doesn't work that way..when it is working. Take some geratol and quit dreaming out loud. you are supposed to represent reality...not fantasy..let the young people grasp thin air.

This is the kind of attitude that is propelling Obama. There are people I know that are Black Americans. Now, none of them have EVER voted before. Yet, they complain how this country is being run. Whatever...

Now, these same Black Americans are going to vote this year. I asked them all, "Why now?".

I bet you can't guess what their answers were.....

"Why, I'm gonna vote for Obama because he is black."

Can you imagine that people can be so stoooopid.

Well, can you?

I can and THAT is the ONLY reason Obama is gaining ground. Yes, some older white folks vote for him to however, this mass of points are going to him only for the fact that he is black.

Instead of looking at experience and talent, they explain that "someone who looks like me MUST be ok so I'm gonna vote for HIM".

My God..........
