Is Miley Cyrus too racy? - Sentinel & Enterprise

I would NEVER let my 15 year old pose for photos to this nature! She needs to start acting her age!! Its rediculous what young celebraties are turning into these days!

I think that she is free to do what she wants...She is a 15 yr. old celeberty and all teenagers live on this stuff at one point..It is just a picture and i dont think it's a big deal..Lay off her and dont waste your time...

When you have a 15 year old star, having concerts, that people are paying up to $3,000 to go to, and all the add-on's that go with it, one does grow up RATHER quickly.

Furthermore, what does this say to kids, that having pictures taken like this is ok? The parents who don't feel the least bit worried about it, are the WORST excuse for parents.

Children get exploited every day, and pictures such as the Miley one, basically gives license to those who would do harm to children.

However, what is galling that the parents quoted in this article weren't so worried. It is understandable why this world is going the way it is, and children end up the way they are when you have parents that don't really care about such things.

I guess it's okay to be like Paris Hilton or the others. Granted Miley isn't there yet, but this photo shoot was a step in the WRONG direction!

I do not think that it is right to let a fifteen year old girl lay down on someone she does not know and I might not let my kids watch Hanna Montana any more so Hanna should be ashamed of her pictures.

i do think that destiny hope cyrus is too young for these photos. she is way too ugly for the photos anyways.

If anyone should be to blame it SHOULD be Lebowitz. She really should have known better than to subject a child to a photo such as what we've seen. Heck, I thought the pic of Miley and Billy was a bit 'much' as well.. perhaps it was a bit too much retouch, but I looked at those pictures and felt it was more along the lines of a couples photo as opposed to a father/daughter.

I'm guessing that Miley was just as star struck at being in the presence of such a talented photographer as her fans are at her concerts. Pictures really seem to take on a whole new meaning after they've been airbrushed and photoshopped, don't they? I mean, these famous photographers are the ones that know what they're doing behind a lens, don't they?

Honestly...an underaged girl made to look naked under some sheets implies sex and nothing else.

Just because kids are having sex younger and younger and "most teenage girls take pictures like that" (speaking more of the candid shots) it doesn't mean that its a good thing. It should not be encouraged.

Anyways, I can remember when I was 15, and I would have been no different than miley cyrus. At 15 yrs old adolescence is rearing its ugly head and girls start to get that annoying rush of puberty and hormones, and start rebelling to some extent to dress and act older, sexier, more mature. The difference here is that-unfortunately for miley-she didn't have a father who thought well enough to step in and say NO. In reality, she is acting no different than any other 15 yr old girl. Too bad her parents are the ones not acting their age. Maybe they should try being actual parents instead of their daughter's best friends.
